BETA is seeking a motivated driving professional to join our growing team. The primary focus of this role is to transport materials safely between facilities. The role will also have occasional long-distance driving supporting the flight test team and transporting Class 9 hazardous materials. An ideal candidate will be able to flex their role from transporting materials to logistics coordination, and administrative responsibilities. The candidate should be proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems is preferred. Strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities are essential.
How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:
- Drive a truck safely following all DOT regulations with class 9 hazardous materials
- Perform pre trip and post trip inspections daily
- Assisting shipping/receiving with loading and unloading of trucks as time allows.
- Ability to work between multiple locations if needed
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment by keeping vehicles and equipment up to date with routine maintenance and calling out any repairs
- Daily communication between all teams to ensure all movements are made in a timely, efficient, and effective manner.
- Ability to drive in Canada
Minimum Qualifications:
- All around good person and fun to work with
- Class A or B CDL with Hazmat endorsement (or the ability to get one)
- Ability to handle setbacks, and find solutions
- Desire to work in a dynamic environment
- Ability to make decisions
- Ability to lift 75 pounds
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Power lifting equipment experience
- Familiarity withMicrosoft suites preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude

Compensation
$30 - $35 USD
