Digital Properties Architect is a hands-on technical solutions architect in the Digital Marketing team. This role is responsible for leading the deployment, integration, maintenance and architecture for all digital properties and applications deployed across or connected to all digital properties. Specifically, focusing on analysis, design, development, administration, and integration of applications in web-based, internet/intranet, client/server, and Content Management applications with Adobe AEM Content Management System and Adobe Digital Marketing Suite. Additionally, support Black Duck’s general digital marketing programs, specifically focused on web technology stack but also extending expertise for other digital channels (mobile apps, interactive sales aids etc.) on a project need basis. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Strategic Leadership: Drive marketing technology strategy, aligning it with business goals and objectives. 
  • Hands-On Expertise: Be a self-starter who can dive into the details while maintaining a strategic vision. 
  • Technology Integration: Oversee the marketing technology, ensuring optimal performance and integration between AEM as a Cloud Service, Adobe Target, Adobe Data Collection, Web SDK, CDP platform such as 6sense, and other relevant technologies. 
  • Technical Solutions: Focus on analysis, design, development, administration, and integration of applications. Own the website update and release schedule, ensuring timely and effective updates. 
  • Web Operations: Understand and manage web operations to ensure seamless functionality and user experience. 
  • Data Support: Collaborate with data analysts to provide the digital data needed to run the business effectively. 
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand functional requirements and develop digital experiences based on Adobe marketing cloud products. 
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain technical and solution design documentation, including architectural diagrams and platform integrations. 
  • Feature Development: Develop powerful features such as multi-site and multi-channel delivery, personalization/targeting, content aggregation & syndication, multi-lingual support, automated workflow management, etc. 
  • Problem Solving: Diagnose and solve technical problems related to AEM as a Cloud Service implementation. 
  • Team Leadership: Provide inputs and direction to senior developers in the team for design and implementation. 
  • Code Review: Perform code reviews and define best practices to manage performance, security, and scalability of digital platforms. 
  • Global Engagement: Define solution architecture for global customer engagement and global web content management platforms. 
  • Technical Point of Contact: Act as a primary technical point of contact to resolve any issues, conduct technical presentations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 8-10 years of technology experience in a digital marketing organization. 
  •  Design, develop, and deploy AEM as a Cloud Service solutions tailored for high availability and scalability. Implement AEM dispatcher configurations, caching strategies, and performance optimizations. 
  • Strong understanding of AEM architecture including components, templates, content & experience fragments, DAM, user management & permissions, workflows, JCR and OSGI framework. 
  • Solid understanding of Java, design patterns, integration patterns, Restful APIs, and microservices architecture. 
  • Good understanding of Github CI/CD processes and Adobe Cloud Manager CI/CD pipelines. Experience in integrating customer CDN such as Cloudflare with Adobe’s CDN is a plus. 
  • Strong experience in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and others. 
  • Good experience with One Trust cookie consent platform and tag implementation using Adobe data collection.  Expertise in collecting user interaction data from websites using Web SDK and ingest it to Adobe Analytics and other cloud platforms, such as Target. 
  • Proficiency in implementing personalization using Adobe Target and customer data platforms (CDP) is a plus. 
  • Familiarity with data warehouse/ETL tools for data stitching downstream. 
  • Passion for solving business challenges with technological solutions across multiple platforms and services. 
  • Deep expertise with the overall web stack including backend, front-end, networking, and security. 
  • Deep knowledge and hands-on development and architect-level experience with major Content Management solutions like AEM. 
  • Expertise with cloud solution architecture and familiarity with major cloud service providers. 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Excellent listening and communication skills, with the ability to partner and influence peers and architects from other teams. 
  • Experience working in an Agile Sprint-based project delivery model with hands-on knowledge of JIRA. 

 

The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $154800-$232200. In addition, this role is eligible for a bonus. Black Duck offers a competitive total rewards package. The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.

 

 

 

 

 

Pay Range

$154,800 - $232,200 USD
