About The Role

Bosa Properties is looking for a Development Coordinator to join our team of talented real estate professionals. Reporting to the Vice President, Development, this individual will have the opportunity to support a portfolio of projects located in Surrey, Burnaby and Richmond.

What You'll Do

  • Assist in coordinating projects throughout all stages of the project lifecycle by creating, monitoring, updating, tracking and interpreting project data reflected through proformas, contracts, schedules, budgets, and cash-flows on an on-going basis;
  • Assist multiple Development Managers with project coordination, task management, priority tracking, financial analysis, monthly reporting, meeting minutes, and consultants management;
  • Assist Vice President, Development in coordinating priorities and completing tasks to support portfolio and operational needs;
  • Coordinate project tasks and priorities to ensure all project schedules and deliverables are achieved and information is organized and communicated to senior leaders;
  • Gather and review economic, demographic, and real estate market data and assist in analyzing and presenting findings to senior leaders;
  • Participate in collaborative design review workshops to aid in the development of residential and commercial buildings;
  • Review policy requirements and track municipal updates to inform the portfolio team of project and design impacts;
  • Assist with municipal approvals including Rezoning, Development Permit, and Building Permit submissions, presentations and processes;
  • Assist with project completion activities to ensure permits, closings, handover, and warranties are achieved and managed effectively.

What You Bring

  • One (1) year of experience in real estate development, or three (3) years of experience in a related field;
  • Demonstrated ability to accomplish objectives and strives for continuous improvement for yourself and others;
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully coordinate and deliver project objectives, setting high standards of performance for self and others;
  • Ability to stay organized adapt quickly to changing priorities, in a dynamic and integrated environment;
  • Ability to approach challenges with curiosity and demonstrating strategic thinking to overcome them;
  • Ability to collaborate with others to maintain partnerships, leverage information, and achieve results;
  • Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams by fostering relationships and understanding different perspectives;
  • Functional skills using Excel, developed through assisting with building and analyzing financial models;
  • Familiarity with utilizing project management tools for scheduling, priority tracking, and budgeting;
  • Familiarity with reading and interpreting vendor proposals and contracts will be considered an asset;
  • Experience with reading and interpreting drawings (ideally with Bluebeam), schedule management tools, and Yardi, will be considered an asset.

 

Our salary ranges and bonus percentages are determined by job family and level. Base salary is determined by a combination of factors including, but not limited to, education and training, years of relevant experience, and internal equity.

Salary

$77,100 - $106,000 CAD
