WHY BOX NEEDS YOU
We’re looking for a channel‑obsessed marketer who can generate attention and make every great story travel. As Content Marketing Manager focused on distribution & amplification, you’ll design multi‑channel plans, craft thumb‑stopping assets, and expand the reach of our editorial across paid, owned, and employee‑advocacy channels. Your mission: ensure Box’s thought leadership, product news, and customer stories reach and engage the right people—converting visibility into influence, engagement, and pipeline.
WHY THIS ROLE NOW
- Content supply outpaces attention. Breakthrough distribution is table stakes for standing out in the AI content deluge.
- Brand mentions drive LLM discovery. The more our stories circulate, the more AI assistants recommend Box.
- Owned reach beats rented reach. Building first‑party channels mitigates rising paid‑media costs.
- Executive & employee voices amplify trust. People follow people—they can extend Box’s credibility and TAM.
- Data‑driven loops. Modern tools let us optimize creative and spend in real time—if someone owns the dashboard.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Asset Development
- Write or edit channel‑specific copy—social posts, ad headlines, email sequences—and brief designers on creative that maximizes click‑through and engagement.
- Maintain a library of evergreen assets, templates, and content snippets ready for rapid deployment.
- Growing Our Addressable Audience
- Drive subscriptions, followers, and newsletter sign‑ups by promoting stories through paid social, syndication, and strategic boosts.
- Activate executive and employee advocacy programs to amplify priority content and spark organic sharing.
- Audience Intelligence
- Build and update audience profiles using first‑ and third‑party data to understand needs, interests, and preferred channels.
- Translate insights into actionable recommendations for content formats and distribution tactics.
- Strategy & Planning
- Create quarterly amplification plans that align with editorial priorities and campaign calendars—defining objectives, budgets, and KPIs that ladder to pipeline targets.
- Select and optimize channel mix across paid social, SEM, display, email, and syndication.
- Campaigns Partnership
- Liaise closely with the Global Campaigns team to coordinate launches and ensure amplification converts generated attention into qualified engagement.
- Deliver post‑campaign readouts and recommend optimizations.
- Owned‑Channel Growth
- Operate Box’s primary organic channels (newsroom, blog, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, newsletters), tuning cadence, SEO, and UX to grow reach and repeat engagement.
- Pilot emerging platforms that reach high‑value segments.
- Enablement & Governance
- Develop playbooks and office hours that upskill regional teams on amplification best practices.
- Ensure all distributed assets meet brand, legal, and accessibility standards.
- Performance & Optimization
- Own distribution analytics, reporting weekly on reach, engagement, cost‑per‑result, and pipeline influence.
- Run A/B tests and iterate creative, targeting, and spend for continuous improvement.
WHO YOU ARE
We are an AI-first company. This means you approach your work with a growth mindset and find ways to leverage AI to help make faster, smarter decisions that will 10X your impact at Box.
- 5+ years in digital marketing, paid media, or audience development—ideally within a high‑growth B2B tech or media brand.
- Proven track record of building multi‑channel programs that generate awareness and drive pipeline.
- Hands‑on experience with social ad platforms (LinkedIn, Meta, X), Google Ads, marketing automation, and analytics tools.
- Exceptional copywriting skills—able to distill value props in tight character counts.
- Strong project‑management and stakeholder‑alignment capability.
- Data‑fluency: can interpret dashboards and turn insights into action.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience amplifying editorial content (newsroom, blog, research) vs. only demand‑gen.

- Certification in Google Ads or LinkedIn Marketing Solutions.
- Knowledge of SEO, tagging, and schema to boost discoverability.
- Track record piloting new social platforms.
