Box is looking for a Frontend Software Engineer III to join the Box Apps team in Warsaw.
Box Apps is an intelligent no-code builder designed to empower businesses to create custom applications in hours instead of weeks. By combining content, metadata, workflows, and users, Box Apps allows teams to build tailored tools that enhance productivity across departments. With its intuitive drag-and-drop interface, Box Apps makes it easy to create dynamic dashboards for tracking processes, managing metadata at scale, and extracting AI-driven insights. From automating document handling to launching workflows, Box Apps delivers streamlined solutions that keep information accurate, organized, and accessible - powering smarter, faster decision-making for the teams.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Collaborate closely with designers to ensure a visually appealing and user-friendly experience in the application.
- Compose written specifications and documentation for software projects.
- Plan and effectively execute on project and quarterly deliverables.
- Participate actively in code reviews to ensure high code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance across the entire stack for a smooth user experience.
- Attend and engage in weekly stand-ups, team meetings, manager 1:1s.
- Participate in our on-call rotation, available at all times while on-call to help respond to and triage any issues that arise.

WHO YOU ARE:
- You have 5+ years of professional software development experience
- You have experience with TypeScript, JavaScript and React
- You have experience with Node.js
- You have experience working with legacy codebases
- You speak English proficiently
- You are oriented for solving problems regardless of technology - small modifications of Java or PHP will happen time to time

- Coding: 60%
- Documentation: 15%
- Bug Fixes: 15%
- Meetings: 10%
