What You'll Do
BridgeBio is looking for an Associate Director/Director, Marketing & Strategy, Market Access to support the strategy development and tactical execution for BridgeBio’s portfolio of pipeline assets. This encompasses all aspects of Market Access Marketing & Strategy: payer accounts, pricing and contracting, trade and distribution, patient support, and field reimbursement. This position will report to the Executive Director, Head of Market Access Marketing and Strategy.
The Associate Director/Director, Marketing & Strategy, Market Access, will play a critical Commercial role in supporting BridgeBio’s portfolio: BBP-418, encaleret, infrigratinib, and other pipeline assets. The individual will work collaboratively to develop market access strategies and execute all new product launch activities as we get closer to approval. This includes managing the end-to-end process of creating market-access marketing materials, managing marketing agency vendors, and gaining internal alignment across cross-functional teams.
The ideal candidate should be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment and must be able to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders, including but not limited to Market Access, Marketing, Medical, Analytics, Legal, Regulatory, Compliance, Sales, and Training. Additionally, exceptional judgment, business acumen, discretion, communication skills, empathy, and strong relationship-building skills are necessary.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the market access marketing lead responsible for all Market Access marketing tactics, including but not limited to payer value proposition, payer communications, patient services, field reimbursement support, trade and distribution, and pricing and reimbursement support
- Develop pre-approval information exchange (PIE) presentations and payer value propositions to engage payer customers in their decision-making based on clinical and economic value
- Establish and develop value-based access messages to patients, HCPs, and office practice managers
- Collaborate with patient services team to design strong patient access programs
- Support launch readiness through leading Market Access planning meetings and participating in brand planning and other internal meetings
- Collaborate with training to ensure practical, impactful, best-in-class training for Market Access field teams
- Develop and review key market access marketing materials and lead projects through the medical, legal, and regulatory (MLR) or promotional review committee (PRC) review and approval process
- Oversee and manage day-to-day activities with market access marketing agencies
- Manage and monitor market access marketing materials budget and vendor contracts
- Act as a subject matter expert on market access trends and implications for strategic planning
- Research competitive market access pieces and payer initiatives and keep the organization well informed of external initiatives and impact
Where You'll Work
This position will be expected to be on-site in both our San Francisco and Palo Alto home offices on a weekly basis.
Who You Are
- BA/BS degree required; MBA, MPH preferred
- Minimum of 8+ years of Biotech/Pharma experience
- Track record of successful access strategy development and launch preparation, preferably in rare diseases or specialty therapeutics
- Must have a strong understanding of the U.S. payer landscape, including Medicaid, Medicare, commercial plans, and specialty pharmacy
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and strategic-thinking skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to manage and execute multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail
- 15 - 25% Travel

Salary
$200,000 - $275,000 USD
