Job Overview

Bubble is looking for a Social Media Engagement Manager to lead and oversee community engagement across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube. This role is responsible for managing a team of interns who handle day-to-day interactions, ensuring that all responses align with Bubble’s brand voice, are timely, and foster meaningful community engagement. If you have 3-5 years of experience managing a team, thrive in social media environments, and know how to turn engagement into brand loyalty, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Quality Assurance

  • Hire, train, and manage a team of interns responsible for responding to DMs, comments, mentions, and tags across all platforms.
  • Provide consistent coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to ensure high-quality execution.
  • Conduct QA checks on engagement responses, ensuring all communications align with brand tone and strategy.
  • Develop and maintain best practices, response guidelines, and escalation protocols for community engagement.
  • Lead weekly team check-ins to discuss engagement trends, refine strategies, and optimize team performance.

Community Engagement & Social Interaction

  • Oversee and approve key engagement responses, stepping in for high-priority interactions with influencers, brand partners, and key customers.
  • Ensure proactive engagement, not just reactive replies—starting conversations, participating in trends, and amplifying user-generated content.
  • Maintain a pulse on trending topics, memes, and cultural moments, integrating them into engagement strategies to boost visibility.
  • Ensure all interactions are timely, thoughtful, and contribute to a strong brand presence across platforms.

Customer Experience & Brand Reputation

  • Partner with the Customer Experience (CX) team to align on messaging, ensure seamless issue resolution, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor brand sentiment and community feedback, flagging trends, potential PR risks, and viral opportunities.
  • Develop strategies for improving customer engagement and loyalty through social interactions.

Real-Time Monitoring & Performance Tracking

  • Ensure daily monitoring of all social media channels, including weekends and peak engagement times.
  • Track engagement KPIs, including response time, sentiment shifts, and audience growth.
  • Provide weekly performance reports, highlighting insights, intern effectiveness, and recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience managing a team, preferably in social media, digital marketing, or community engagement.
  • Deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube, including platform-specific engagement strategies.
  • Exceptional copywriting skills with the ability to craft engaging, brand-aligned responses.
  • Experience mentoring and leading a team, ensuring high standards of execution and efficiency.
  • Quick thinker with strong problem-solving skills, able to adapt responses in real-time.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, 24/7 digital environment, including occasional evening/weekend coverage.
  • Experience using social media management tools like Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or similar.
  • Passion for skincare, beauty, and community-driven brands is a plus!
