
Sales Enablement Director
The Sales Enablement Director leads the team responsible for delivering operational excellence to our food service manufacturer clients. This role oversees a group of Sales Enablement Managers who work in tandem with Sales Strategy Managers to implement projects that drive revenue, client satisfaction, and measurable results. The Director provides leadership, process optimization, and cross-functional coordination to ensure client projects are executed on time, within budget, and with a high degree of accuracy. This position reports to the VP of Operations and will work closely with other functional leaders, including the future Director of Sales Strategy. Your impact:
Leadership & Team Development
- Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Sales Enablement Managers, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and operational excellence.
- Set team performance metrics and conduct regular reviews to drive continuous improvement.
Operational Oversight & Execution
- Direct day-to-day operations across all manufacturer initiatives, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and budgets are consistently met.
- Oversee project execution including audits, reporting, invoicing, inventory management, and data validation.
- Lead implementation of new services and technologies across the department.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a key liaison between Sales Enablement and internal departments, partnering closely with Sales Strategy leadership to align on client goals, strategy execution, and measurable outcomes.
- Resolve operational barriers and ensure project milestones are met across functions.
Client Success & Reporting
- Ensure the team is delivering best-in-class service and measurable value to our clients.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, internal tools, KPIs and reporting dashboards, monitoring for team efficiency, accuracy, and project outcomes.
Strategic Contribution
- Provide operational insight in leadership discussions and planning, contributing to the strategic evolution of manufacturer relations services and go-to-market initiatives.
- Prepare the enablement team to scale in partnership with the Sales Strategy functions
- Other support as required and requested
About you:
- 8+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years in a people leadership role
- Experience in foodservice, marketing, B2B strategy, or client-facing implementation roles preferred
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with project management platforms preferred
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to build and manage high-performing teams
- Advanced project and program management capabilities
- Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and follow-through
- Excellent communication, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Strong analytical skills and data literacy
- Ability to adapt quickly and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to collaborate with other departments and manage remote and in-person collaboration to exceed client expectations.
