Come ride with us as the Commercial Finance Analyst in our Wilton office. This role is key in supporting the financial planning and analysis for our global commercial business, with a particular focus on the North American market. This position will partner closely with the Finance and Sales teams to drive financial insights, develop strategic analysis, and support the development of profitable growth strategies.

How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Financial Reporting Systems Administration:
    • Serve as an administrator for global financial systems (HFM and Planful), ensuring seamless operation and data integrity.
    • Maintain and update global financial reporting tools to ensure accurate, timely, and insightful reporting.
  • Financial Analysis & Support:
    • Prepare comprehensive analyses, reports, and presentations for consolidated global financials (including actuals, forecasts, and budgets).
    • Collaborate with Finance Management and Sales Management to support profitable growth strategies in the North American region, encompassing analysis on customer segmentation, pricing, and headcount planning.
  • Financial Planning & Coordination:
    • Support preparation of the Annual Budget, Monthly Forecasts, and Ad-Hoc Scenario Plans to help inform strategic decisions.
    • Work with global finance team to align North America financial performance with the global strategic vision.
  • Month-End Reporting:
    • Prepare and review month-end close financials and provide variance analysis vs. Budget and Forecast, identifying key insights and trends.
    • Deliver actionable recommendations aimed at improving overall financial performance.
  • Sales Planning & Support:
    • Assist in constructing the Annual Commercial Sales Plan, focusing on aspects such as customer payment terms, employee commissions, and KPI tracking.
    • Track and analyze monthly Operational Expenses within the North American commercial teams.
  • Champion and encourage a positive working environment and effective teamwork in line with the Company’s values, behaviors and culture.
  • Contribute to the company's success by leading and assisting in other projects and tasks assigned.
  • Follow internal controls and company policy as set by company and job function.
  • Work collaboratively with the Leadership team and encourage a culture of continuous process improvement.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • BS degree in Business, Economics, Finance or Accounting.  Other degrees considered given relevant experience.
  • 2-3+ years of related financial experience.
  • Excellent financial analytical skills, a solid understanding of financial reporting and accounting, and a proven ability to work across functions within an organization.
  • Superior Excel skills mandatory.
  • Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
