Position Overview:
Ceribell is looking for a temporary R&D Technician to help us assemble, test, and inspect new EEG products and technologies. We are looking for someone with an engineering background and prior experience in the manufacturing of electronic medical devices. You must be detail oriented and able to work independently. You will work closely with our R&D group to identify quality, design, and manufacturing issues and propose solutions to drive improvements to our products and processes. This temporary position will be paid hourly. There may be an opportunity to transition to full-time employment based on performance.
What you'll do:
- Assemble prototype devices and subcomponents
- Provide feedback to improve design and manufacturing processes
- Set-up and operate manufacturing and testing equipment
- Conduct tests, protocols, and collect data
- Conduct Incoming Quality Control (IQC) Inspection and documentation relating to components, products and processes
- Maintain manufacturing area as described by Manufacturing Process instructions and Standard Operating Procedures
- Identify Non-conforming material and generate Non-Conforming Material Report (NCMR)
- Maintain inventory of materials, release materials and generate reports
- Support CAD design and construction for manufacturing fixtures
- Support the creation of Manufacturing Process Instructions, Test Method Protocols, and Component Specifications.
- Support release of Documentation Change Orders (DCOs) under ISO13485 quality management system
What We're Looking For:
- 2+ years of experience in medical device manufacturing
- Hands-on experience with building electronic devices (soldering, heat-staking, etc…) and solving technical problems
- Can work independently
- Familiarity with technical drawings and test protocols
- Business proficient in English
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office or equivalent software
- Ability to lift, pull or push materials and equipment \ up to 50 lbs of force with a 2nd person.
- Ability to stand; walk; and use hands and fingers, handle objects, tools, or controls throughout the day.
- Ability to build small assemblies, at times under a microscope.

Compensation Range
$40 - $50 USD
