About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Director to join our team, focusing specifically on the events transportation vertical. This role will drive revenue growth by targeting large organizations, securing Master Service Agreements (MSAs), and fostering strong relationships with key decision-makers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in charter bus industry sales within the charter bus transportation industry and will be adept at navigating procurement processes to become an approved vendor.

Responsibilities
Sales Strategy Development: Craft and execute a sales motion and playbook for engaging large organizations , navigating their procurement processes to become an approved vendor.Account Management: Proactively pursue and secure MSAs with large entities (e.g., large school districts, universities, travel agencies, DMCs) that have a significant annual spend on charters.Relationship Building: Drive the adoption of CharterUP’s platform and services among key decision-makers at enterprise accounts.Revenue Growth: Ensure consistent share of wallet gains from managed accounts, contributing to the vertical’s revenue targets.Market Expansion: Help prove the enterprise charter model’s viability for rapid scaling by demonstrating consistent success across multiple accounts.
- Technology Adoption: become an expert on our Enterprise Charter technology platform, which enables seamless bookings, payments and trip management. Train clients on how to use the platform to drive consistent usage and capture more wallet share
Experience and Expertise
- Proven experience in enterprise sales (5+ years), within the charter bus transportation industries.
- Strong ability to develop relationships, negotiate, and close deals with high-value accounts.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and strategic thinking skills.
- Demonstrated success with managing complex sales cycles, including navigating RFP processes and MSA negotiations.
- Track record of growing and maintaining $1M+ accounts (via an RFP / MSA process)
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with a knack for identifying and pursuing growth opportunities in a dynamic environment.
