Title: Staff Software Engineer
Reports to: Director, Engineering
Location: This position is based in Austin, TX (Hybrid: Monday, Wednesday, Friday in-office).
What You’ll Do
-
Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable front-end applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue)

Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and responsive user interfaces

Collaborate with back-end engineers to define and integrate APIs

Define and promote software engineering best practices

Foster a culture of continuous improvement including mentorship of junior engineers

Lead technical vision and direction, using your expertise to guide tough decisions
What You’ll Bring
-
8-12+ years of experience as a professional fullstack or front-end focused software engineer

Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript with experience in modern frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue)

Strong understanding of web performance optimization and responsive design principles

Demonstrated ability to lead projects from concept to deployment, working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

You are a coder that loves to be hands-on, leading the charge on complex projects

Comfortable taking ownership end-to-end of deliverables

Compensation

Estimated base salary for this role is $180,000-$250,000
