We’re looking for a Compliance Manager to work closely with our Compliance Team in the U.S. This is a brand new role reporting to our Head of Legal and Compliance.
We’re building a world-class, data-driven and tech-focused Compliance team as we grow, driving us toward our next fundraise and beyond. You’ll take the lead in managing the day-to-day operations of our Compliance program as we scale rapidly over the next 3-5 years.
Some of the things you'll get involved with:
- Support our bank partnerships by attending and eventually leading weekly meetings with our bank partners
- Assist with regulatory examinations, audits and state licensing
- Provide compliance advice and guidance to internal business partners
- Lead compliance oversight of complaints response and overall program; able to identify, analyze and communicate trends and suggest mitigation pathways
- Able to lead the vendor management function, proactively conducting vendor due diligence and identifying scenarios where additional oversight may be required
- Review marketing and consumer-facing assets for UDAAP and other regulatory red flags
- Coordinate and manage vendor-provided compliance training
- As we scale, you’ll help us identify new opportunities to enhance compliance and protect the businesses from unreasonable risk
What are we looking for?
- You have at least five years of work experience in a bank or fintech compliance role, focusing on financial services consumer banking, payments, or lending compliance
- You’re comfortable carving your path in a fast-paced environment
- You’re able and excited to conceive of and execute projects independently
- You have the ability to quickly pick up new concepts, and dive into a problem with a solutions-oriented, outcome-focused mindset – even with no prior background in the subject matter
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical capabilities, and the ability to develop creative solutions for challenging, open-ended problems
