Associate Director, Virtual Programs Daytime
Weekly outpatient therapy isn't always enough, and a trip to the ER isn't the only answer. Patients and their families rely on Compass Health Center when in crisis – every day, we help people overcome depression, anxiety, suicidality, obsessions/compulsions, trauma, chronic pain, and other obstacles in order for our patients to live freely.
About This Role
We are seeking an Associate Director of our Virtual Program, to lead our team while continuing to participate in patient care. If you are passionate about helping other clinicians grow, and concurrently being given the opportunity to remain an expert in your clinical skills, you would be a great addition to our team.
This is a full-time position that is Monday thru Friday with a typical schedule of 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM CST; however, there may be a need for candidate to work until 6:30 CST when covering for other staff.
What You'll Do:
- Assist Program Director, Senior Director, and SVP in overseeing quality of care in virtual U18/O18 PHP and IOP programs
- Manage clinical team of 8-12 group therapists
- Conduct and document intakes of new patients to the program
- Oversee the quality of U18 Virtual group therapy programming and therapeutic curriculum through regular group observations and review of patient and family satisfaction surveys and other quality measures
- Ensure that all group therapists consistently provide high quality care to program patients
- Associate Director will be responsible for Key Performance Indicators including patient attendance, days per week attending program, clinical effect size, patient satisfaction, discharges of patients in or out of Zone of Optimal Outcomes.
- Maintain clinical licensure in multiple states: Illinois, home state license, and at least two additional
- Guide team through the implementation of new workflows and protocol changes
- Partner with operations teams to provide rapid access to care for patients and families
- Provide virtual and phone coaching to parents and patients
- Engage in frequent communication and daily huddles with Virtual leadership team
- Cross train to provide support and oversight for O18 Evening Program as needed
- Manage individual caseload of patients from admission to discharge, including correspondence with outside providers and home school to provide clinical information and coordinate care
- Provide virtual group, individual, and family therapy, as needed
- Lead team through crisis management efforts as needed
- Ensure that all documentation and data are tracked/completed in an accurate and timely manner
- Respond to and manage patient satisfaction issues as they arise
- Provide clinical supervision for staff working toward licensure, as approved by Program Director
- Ensure that all program activities are aligned with Compass values and mission statement
- Support virtual team in ensuring that issues related to liability/ethics (e.g., mandated reporting, patient complaints) are addressed quickly and appropriately
- Ensure that virtual programs adhere to all policies and procedures
- Effectively coordinate with other Compass programs and departments
- Coordinate community outreach (ex: provide trainings, cultivate referral sources, conduct tours)
- Actively engage in virtual program development and expansion
- Participate in interviews with Program Director, as needed
- Meet with Program Director on a regular basis for supervision/consultation
Who You Are:
- Licensed Doctorate Level Psychologist or Masters Level Clinician (LCPC or LCSW).
- Clinical experience conducting assessments, individual, family or group therapy experience
- Knowledge and experience of group dynamics utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), as well as other empirically supported treatments.
- Experience with patients in crisis
- Program development and implementation experience
- Experience supervising therapists, both licensed and seeking licensure
- Excellent time management
- Ability to juggle multiple demands simultaneously in a fast paced and changing environment

This range includes multiple career path levels across the organization; where you fall in the range is dependent upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, your years of experience, type of experience, location, and education/certifications. Compass reserves the right to update these ranges.
This role may also be eligible for an annual bonus which is dependent upon individual and company performance.
Compensation
$78,000 - $98,000 USD
