TMS and Outpatient Manager
Weekly outpatient therapy isn't always enough, and a trip to the ER isn't the only answer. Patients and their families rely on Compass Health Center when in crisis – every day, we help people overcome depression, anxiety, suicidality, obsessions/compulsions, trauma, chronic pain, and other obstacles in order for our patients to live freely.
About This Role
We’re seeking a TMS and Outpatient Manager to oversee the daily operations of our TMS and Outpatient program in Chicago. In this leadership role, you’ll not only manage the administration of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) to patients under the supervision of an MD psychiatrist, but also guide and support a dynamic team of TMS technicians. You’ll be instrumental in optimizing patient care, ensuring high-quality treatment, and managing the critical behind-the-scenes logistics such as patient scheduling, prior authorizations, and quality audits. What You'll Do:
- Manage the TMS and Outpatient program at Compass Chicago.
- Manage patient scheduling and provider schedules to maximize availability and optimal quality of care.
- Train and Manage TMS Tech team.
- Administers TMS to patients under supervision of MD psychiatrist.
- Collects and documents vital signs, height, weight in conjunction with TMS tech.
- Ensures that all procedures and documentation comply with Compass Policy.
- Assist with Joint Commission audits, planning and preparation.
- Maintains confidentiality in matters related to patient, family, and client facility staff.
- Provides supplementary assistance with infection control and prevention measures
- Medication, medical supply, and equipment inventory for program.
- Initiating and managing Prior Authorizations for TMS
- •Assist with monthly chart audits to monitor quality and performance measures in accordance with standards of care.
- Contributor in quality, safety, & risk committees that support on-site practices.
- Manage all patients in practice, assist with rescheduling, communication and follow up to patients lost to treatment.
- Manages daily team huddle to review scheduled patients, cancellations, time to next available appointment, clinically relevant information for patients that day/week and of concern, announcements, etc.
- Participates in professional development activities
- All other duties within the scope of training as assigned.
- Consults with: Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners, Program Directors, Nurses and Administrative Staff
Who You Are:
- Exceptional interpersonal and therapeutic communication skills
- Robust organizational and time management skills, with noteworthy attention to detail
- Team player with adaptiveness and agility
- Experience in the delivery of TMS
- Registered Nurse with current Illinois licensure (preferred)
- Current CPR certification (preferred)
- Working knowledge of pharmaceuticals (preferred)
- Experience in mental health care (preferred)

This range includes multiple career path levels across the organization; where you fall in the range is dependent upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, your years of experience, type of experience, location, and education/certifications. Compensation
$67,000 - $74,000 USD
