Part-Time Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist
Compliance Management International (CMI) is hiring a Part-Time EHS Specialist to support safety and compliance services in a university setting. This role focuses on OSHA compliance, facility safety, fire and life safety audits, employee training, and hazardous materials management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Environmental Services: Conduct air monitoring and fume hood testing, support chemical hygiene and hazardous waste disposal programs, work with facilities maintenance vendor to ensure environmental permit compliance.
- Health & Safety Programs: Conduct safety inspections, assist with laboratory and maintenance safety, ensure PPE guidelines are understood, and assist with Safety Data Sheet management.
- Project & Data Management: Develop EHS project plans, track progress, and generate compliance reports.
- Fire & Life Safety: Inspect fire safety systems, verify code compliance, and manage corrective actions.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS).
- 5+ years of experience in safety inspections, audits, and compliance.
- Some knowledge of OSHA, EPA regulations, and fire codes.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to conduct inspections, climb ladders, and access confined spaces.
- Occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
