Network Infrastructure Operations Manager, New York City

We're searching for a dedicated, full-time Network Infrastructure Operations Manager to join the Convene team in a fast-paced, agile environment. In this role, you'll tackle a broad range of business initiatives, leveraging a wide set of technologies and tools. You'll be instrumental in supporting our internal Convene team, overseeing IT and security infrastructure across our venue properties, multiple cloud environments, and a diverse range of networking technologies. What You’ll Do:

  • Work with an extremely talented cross-functional team to build and maintain the infrastructure which powers the Convene and the Convene family of brands venues
  • Conduct break/fix operations and escalations for Security and IT infrastructure on an on-call basis
  • Work with departments across the company and help the team respond quickly and effectively to business needs
  • Be an escalation point of contact across our global network
  • Implement customer networks using both external and internal resources
  • Manage vendors by defining initial detailed scope for a project and then overseeing work on a week-to-week basis to ensure accurate, quality delivery
  • Take ownership of day-to-day Network Operations, ensuring 100% uptime during business hours and timely response to all inbound ticket requests
  • Enforce policy to maintain best practices around network, IT Security, change management procedures, and compliance 
  • Explore new technologies and have fun finding the best tools

What We Look For:

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with deploying, maintaining, and managing enterprise-scale networks.
  • Expertise in LAN/WAN architecture, multi-site VPN, WiFi networks, and cloud networking
  • Familiarity with networking hardware (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Extreme Networks - experience with Juniper JunOS is preferred)
  • Familiarity with WiFi based (802.11ax/802.11be) architecture, technologies, and day to day operations (experience with Extreme Networks CloudIQ and EkahauAI preferred)
  • Experience with IP-Based Access Control and Security Camera Systems
  • Familiarity with and proficiency in basic TCP/IP based protocols including IEEE 802.1q (VLANs), 802.1d (spanning tree), 802.3ad (LACP Link Aggregation), DHCP
  • Jira or other issue tracking systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot, research and solve technically challenging problems using both internal and external resources
  • Ability to contribute to network transformation projects including new site builds, network/security upgrade projects, and preventative maintenance inspections
  • Ability to communicate with internal/external stakeholders and customers
  • Experience working with and writing scopes of works with structured cabling, remote hands, and IT consulting partners
  • Commitment to quality- caring deeply about quality and knowing what it means to deliver high quality experience
  • Collaboration and adaptability you’re comfortable wearing many different hats

Base Salary:

Salary Min: $150,000  Salary Max: $160,000

This role is also eligible for Convene's annual incentive performance bonus plan.

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
