IT Operations Specialist - Sao Paulo, BRA
Who we are
CloudKitchens helps restaurateurs worldwide succeed in online food delivery - our goal is to make food more affordable, higher quality, and convenient for everyone.
We take underutilized properties and transform them into smart kitchens so they can better serve restaurateurs, customers, and the neighborhoods they’re in. Every time we launch a new facility we create jobs in that neighborhood, and we’re proud to provide a wide range of cuisines and options for healthy food at an affordable price.
We're changing the game for restaurateurs whether they’re entrepreneurs opening their first restaurant all the way through to your favorite global quick-service restaurant chains.
What you’ll do
- Be the Face of IT in SP: Represent IT for the Sao Paulo office, ensuring the local "User Experience" is top-tier by managing high-tech conference rooms and daily office tech needs.
- Support a Global Workforce: Manage first-level requests via service desk tickets, calls, and Slack, participating in a global rotation to support users.
- Lifecycle & Asset Management: Procure, configure, and deploy workstations; handle everything from initial onboarding/training to hardware repairs and replacements.
- Administer Modern Tech: Perform basic administration for a high-growth SaaS stack, including Google Workspace, O365, Zoom, Slack, Jira, and Confluence.
- Local Subject Matter Expert: Take ownership of Brazil-specific software and financial systems, ensuring regional compliance and functionality.
- Secure the Environment: Implement and monitor security measures, including MDM, EDR, and certificates, to keep our global assets safe.
- Build the Blueprint: Proactively document support activities, hardware failures, and installations to help us scale our IT processes as we grow.
What we’re looking for
- The "Initiator" Mindset: We are a startup environment. We need someone independent and autonomous who identifies problems and takes charge without waiting for a manual.
- Communication Mastery: Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Portuguese and English (C1) are essential for supporting our global team.
- Technical Foundation: 1 to 3 years of experience in IT Operations or Support. A technical or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- AV & Connectivity Savvy: Experience (or a strong interest) in managing bandwidth, networking (LAN/WiFi), and conferencing systems to ensure seamless remote collaboration.
- Future-Focused: You are well-versed in (or eager to master) AI and Prompt Engineering to increase efficiency.
- Personable & Proactive: You enjoy interacting with people and can translate complex technical issues into easy-to-understand solutions for your colleagues.
Why join us
- Growing market: You’ll be focused on an $80 billion market that’s projected to reach at least $500 billion by 2030 in the US alone.
- Changing the restaurant industry: You’ll be part of a team that helps restaurants succeed in online food delivery.
- Collaborative environment: You will receive support and guidance from experienced colleagues and managers, helping you to learn, grow, and achieve your goals, and you’ll work closely with other teams to ensure our customer’s success.
