Data Systems Analysts, Inc. is seeking an experienced Executive System Engineer highly experienced in system engineering activities IAW DoD guidance and regulations and the systems engineering principles of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Standard 1220 to integrate classified and unclassified PM PNT products with client systems on Army platforms to develop, and mentor a diverse team of SETA professionals supporting the planning, development, management, sustainment, and execution of the U.S. Army’s PNT system of systems architecture and associated PNT products for the Army’s mounted and dismounted platforms.

Required Qualifications

  • Must have a current and ability to maintain a TS with SSBI for SCI eligibility
  • Bachelors Degree in either Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or Business or related scientific or technical discipline.
  • Fifteen (15) years of relevant Senior Systems Engineer experience in leading, managing, and supervising substantive military hardware/software development, or related systems analysis in the DoD
  • Military experience is highly desired
  • Knowledge and use of the systems engineering principles of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Standard 1220
  • Experience working with large SETA support operations providing Engineering oversight for a diverse team of contractors
  • Experience in configuration management, risk management, and integrated master scheduling
  • Familiarity with IEEE 1220, DoD Systems Engineering policies, and Integrated Product and Process Development (IPPD)
  • Knowledge of Army regulations and policies relevant to PNT, IT, security, and acquisition
  • Understanding of Cybersecurity requirements and 8140 certifications
  • Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills
  • Is agile in responding and leading his team to quickly and effectively respond to urgent and surge requirements
  • Experience managing acquisition requirements and contract schedules/milestones
  • Experience using Artificial Intelligence to deliver efficiencies in areas such as threat detection, resilient architectures, software development, test and evaluation
  • Experienced in using Agile methodologies in leadership, to reduce technical risk, enhance flexibility in delivery, provide real-time technical oversight, etc.

Desired Qualifications

  • Advanced Degree in a technical field
  • Current INCOSE CSEP, DAWIA Level III in Engineering, PMP Certifications
  • Familiarity with JCIDS, CCIDS, and integration with C3 system
  • Ability to coordinate with stakeholders and serve as integrator/liaison

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead systems engineering across PM PNT products, ensuring alignment with Army goals
  • Guide engineering activities from concept development through fielding and sustainment
  • Use systems engineering principles of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Standard 1220 to integrate classified and unclassified PM PNT products with client systems on Army platforms
  • Review data artifacts for acceptability and ensure the product-data relationships are maintained
  • Establish and maintain database(s) to assist PM PNT staff with developing and tracking PNT requirements
  • Support and maintain PM PNT IT infrastructure, including user account management and troubleshooting
  • Develop and maintain PM PNT Knowledge Management Strategy
  • Proactively identify and address program-level risks related to system performance, integration, and delivery
  • Oversee complex integration efforts with emerging warfighting capabilities and legacy platforms
  • Mentor junior engineers and foster technical excellence within the PM PNT systems engineering team
  • Represent PM PNT at technical forums and coordinate with other programs and organizations
  • Documentation & Analysis: Prepare specifications, trade studies, modeling/simulation outputs, and configuration management artifacts
  • Participate in communities of practice for IT and knowledge management
  • Participate in classified meetings and provide technical expertise as needed
  • Knowledgeable in building Senior level status briefings for PEO management
  • Experience interfacing with all levels of government personnel
  • Ability to show now AI will deliver efficiencies to the customer in the engineering environment to reduce costs
  • Experience implementing Agile methodologies in SETA environments to reduce costs, maximize delivery, and improve leadership of highly diverse teams
