This role is part of our Personalised Content team. We create emotive yet conversion-focused ideas, products and campaigns at scale and speed. Our specialty is hyper-personalised, digital communications that change perceptions, shape new behaviours, and shift market share for our clients! This is a hybrid role, based in Berlin.

JOB PURPOSE

As a Junior Designer, you will be creating engaging digital designs that start conversations between people and brands. You’ll work within a team of creatives and copywriters to deliver impactful designs that fulfil client briefs and communicate DEPT®’s standard of Design. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand project requirements and concepts; working on a brief from start to finish
  • Produce final design solutions for lifecycle marketing communications
  • Creating marketing display banners from scratch
  • Designing small animations for social and other digital channels
  • Work closely with the production team to deliver multiple campaigns at the same time
  • Use feedback from your peers as well as leaders to improve standard of work
  • Pitch creative ideas where relevant that enhance projects
  • Apply industry design trends and innovations to day to day work

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • You will have a genuine love for the medium, and in particular digital marketing
  • Good eye for visual design and understanding of visual elements; layout, type and fonts
  • Experience with design software including Figma and Adobe Suite (Predominantly Photoshop & Illustrator)
  • Familiarity with design techniques (e.g. prototyping)
  • Ability to design in small web placements
  • Motion skills are not essential but would be a plus
  • Basic understanding of UX principles as a bonus
  • Good typesetting & retouching skills
  • Great communication skills
  • Excellent team player and problem solving aptitude
  • Self-driven with an inquisitive nature
