Dev Technology is seeking a Enterprise M365 Lead/ Technical Project Manager to join their dynamic and growing team!  The Technical Project Manager (TPM) will lead the Enterprise M365 Team supporting a large government agency. This role is responsible for daily operations, project oversight, and strategic planning for SharePoint Online, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), and M365 governance, administration, and user support. The TPM will oversee multiple short- and long-term development projects, ensuring alignment with agency requirements, compliance, and best practices.

What You'll Be Doing: 

Project & Operations Management

  • Serve as the primary lead for the Enterprise M365 Team, managing daily operations, priorities, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee multiple concurrent development projects, ensuring timely delivery, stakeholder alignment, and compliance with agency policies.
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in coordination with business and IT stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, risk registers, and issue logs.
  • Ensure adherence to government security and compliance requirements for M365 applications.
  • Coordinate with agency IT leadership to align M365 services with enterprise strategies.
  • Conduct project retrospectives and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.

M365 & Power Platform Expertise

  • Provide technical guidance and oversight on the design, development, and deployment of Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, and Power BI reports.
  • Ensure best practices for SharePoint Online governance, site architecture, and permissions management.
  • Support development of low-code/no-code solutions while maintaining security, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Guide teams on integrating Power Platform solutions with Dataverse, SharePoint, and external data sources.
  • Stay updated on Microsoft 365 and Power Platform advancements and recommend improvements to the agency’s digital ecosystem.

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Lead a team of developers, administrators, and support staff providing M365 services.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for agency leadership, business units, and IT teams for all M365-related initiatives.
  • Facilitate meetings, working groups, and stakeholder discussions to gather requirements and ensure successful project execution.
  • Develop and enforce M365 governance policies, ensuring compliance with agency security and operational standards.
  • Provide mentoring and knowledge-sharing for team members, fostering technical growth and best practices.

Training & Support Coordination

  • Support the M365 help desk and user support operations, ensuring responsive issue resolution.
  • Ensure proper documentation, training materials, and end-user guidance for SharePoint Online and Power Platform applications.
  • Organize training sessions, workshops, and knowledge-sharing forums to empower agency staff in utilizing M365 tools effectively.

  Required Education, Experience, and Skills: 

  • Associates degree minimum
  • 6+ years of experience in technical project management, preferably in an M365 and Power Platform environment.
  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Experience managing M365 administration, governance, and security compliance for large enterprises.
  • Ability to design, oversee, and review Power Platform solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices.
  • Experience working in government or highly regulated environments, understanding compliance and security requirements.
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project management methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Azure DevOps, Jira, and emerging AI tools in the Microsoft cloud is a plus.

 

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills: 

  • PMP or Scrum Master certification
