POSITION OVERVIEW

DoubleVerify seeks a talented and resourceful Sales Manager for the Australia market. This unique individual’s primary responsibility will be to prospect and win new Brands, and grow
the business with signed Brands and Agencies. To achieve the primary focus and goal of driving revenue growth from logo wins and expansion, the Sales Manager will think strategically about our client’s brand goals and challenges, build and convey compelling value propositions and achieve an annual revenue target.

We are looking for a strong, strategic salesperson who has a good understanding of the advertising ecosystem and a passion for the latest emerging technologies. Strong knowledge of digital environments (display, video, mobile), online marketing techniques and technologies (Platforms, DSPs, AdExchanges etc.), and the programmatic ecosystem will be
essential. We are looking for a team player that takes initiative, has an entrepreneurial spirit, and knows how to create partnerships become a Trusted Advisor to our clients. This Sales
Manager is someone who has experience in evangelizing products to clients and working hand-in-hand with an Account Management / Campaign Management team to ensure
operational delivery for our clients. Candidates must have knowledge of marketing and the advertising technology industry, and the ability to deeply understand client requirements and the tenacity to stay motivated through complex and sometimes long sales cycles
 
RESPONSIBILITIES

● Develop a strategic plan to achieve revenue goals, together with the Scibids Australia Country Lead
● Hit or exceed these revenue goals.
● Understand and effectively communicate Scibids’ value proposition, technology, processes, partnerships as relate to growth of current and prospective client accounts
● Plan, and deliver sales activities for Scibids and self-sourced pipeline opportunities, including activation of key support teams to address client needs and win new business
● Formulate initial account plan, and successful onboarding process on the basis of a deep understanding of the client business
● Accurately develop, and update new business pipeline
● Forecast Revenue for global reporting
● Develop and maintain strong active relationships with key client stakeholders at both senior and mid-management levels
● Proactively brainstorm with the senior stakeholders at the client, to design custom- solutions that will serve their needs in the coming 2 – 3 years, to truly differentiate themselves from the rest of their peers
● Develop and expand agency partnerships with rigorous and detailed attention to client needs, development of case studies for purpose of heralding agency-client wins and for up-selling within agency
● Attend industry events as needed
● Develop in-depth knowledge of the industry and of the biddable media marketplace —past, present, and future. Initiate learning agendas at existing clients.

This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. As part of a global team, you may be required to be available for calls with other offices (Sales Leads in a different region, Solution Consultants, Account Management teams based in Australia and Paris, Legal in New York, etc) whenever you have a client requirement that needs deep coordination. Other duties may be assigned, as needed. DV retains the right to change job duties at any time.


REQUIREMENTS

● Must be comfortable communicating internally and externally in English, with excellent written language
● Stellar sales performance through resourceful execution
● Excellent understanding of agency dynamics, how they operate and how/what campaign buying and planning entails
● Contacts at top Agencies and Advertisers and have a strong knowledge of accounts, planning teams and planning cycles
● Must show accountability/ownership through every stage of the client relationship
● Must have experience of becoming a Trusted Partner for clients based on a value exchange and proven trustworthy behaviour over time
● Good knowledge of online marketing techniques and technologies (platforms, DSPs, exchanges, etc.)
● Able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
● Ability to analyze and articulate data into a sales proposition a plus
● Collaborate with multiple internal teams to ensure market needs are met
● Excellent presentation and communication skills, both in-person and over the phone
● Bachelors degree
● Ability to speak additional languages (beyond English) is strongly preferred
● 5 - 8 years experience across Media Agencies and/or Adtech sales
