Senior Growth Marketing Manager, International

About the Role:

We are looking for a versatile data driven growth marketer to lead existing and new performance marketing channels and drive continued fast growth for new and upcoming international markets. You’ll build and lead the channel strategy, manage growth managers or external agencies, as well as collaborate on marketing tech stack, website entry points and creative engine with cross-functional teams.  A very strong analytical background is critical for the role.

This role will report to the VP of Growth. 

This is a full-time hybrid role with company benefits based out of Squatch HQ in Marina del Rey. CA.

The anticipated base compensation range for this role will be $130,000 - $155,000. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local market rates.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and executive performance marketing strategies across growth marketing channels for international markets (CA/AU/EU/UK/DACH), including but not limited to Meta, TikTok, Snap, Affiliates/Influencers and Google.  Build the foundation for fast growth moving forward. Collaborate heavily with the US growth marketing team. 
  • Manage budget allocation across channels and categories to maximize ROI while meeting acquisition and revenue targets.
  • Manage day to day growth marketing operations across channels: goal and budget setting, performance tracking, team and agency management, marketing calendar management, creative requests. 
  • Collaborate on the growth forecasting with VP of Growth and be responsible for paid channels Return on Investment (ROI) and revenue targets 
  • Rigorously measure and report on KPIs (CPA, ROI, LTV) on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis in support of growth goals.
  • Conduct detailed channel analysis and uncover insights to make informed decisions on audience, categories, campaigns, creatives, and measurement / data issues. Regularly present data to leadership and peers. 
  • Oversee internal growth managers, agencies and off-shore ops personnel ensuring alignment on strategies/ roadmap and high team engagement and development. 
  • Find opportunities and lead projects to improve marketing technology stack: attribution, incrementality measurement, growth data systems, LTV model, landing pages CMS, etc
  • Conduct research and best practices on creatives for owned channels and collaborate with the creative team to drive an effective creative growth engine
  • Collaborate with Integrated Marketing, Retention and Marketplaces teams on go-to-market campaigns for new products and categories. 
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and larger marketing teams on cross-functional growth projects to drive growth. 

About You:

  • You have 5+ years of performance marketing experience in B2C technology start-ups, driving best in class growth marketing channel management. DTC brands or international experience is a plus 
  • You have 2+ years of management experience developing high accountability and high engagement growth marketing teams.
  • You have a highly analytical skill set with bias to action. You are able to conduct your own in-depth channel analysis and act on the insights. You are proficient with Excel and other BI visualization tools Looker, Tableau, etc. 
  • You are able to pull data from multiple sources and have a keen eye to detail to spot discrepancies and data abnormalities. SQL skills are a plus. 
  • You are an expert in Meta performance advertising. Proficiency in TikTok, Snapchat, and Affiliates is a plus. 
  • You have a deep knowledge of growth creatives best practices and possess natural curiosity to drive continuous improvement. You know how to effectively collaborate with creative teams and agencies.
  • You have experience working with product, engineering, and analytics on marketing tech products
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, being able to explain effectively complex concepts  
  • You have high sense of urgency and able to get things done without perfect resources
  • You are an owner and proactively help others when you see there are issues or opportunities
  • Interest in health and wellness, personal care, and/or eCommerce industries
