**Must be able to work onsite in the Chicago office at least two days/week**

As Account Manager you ensure that all aspects of a program or multiple programs are successfully delivered including larger or more complex programs. You are responsible for communicating effectively with the team and the client. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of complex programs and initiatives across various client accounts. This role integrates traditional account management responsibilities with specialized focus areas in sponsorship marketing.

Responsivities

Client Focus/Relationship Management

  • Deepen client relationships by acting as a trusted strategic business partner, understanding client industries, business needs, and consumer behavior.
  • Lead consistent, clear communication with clients and internal teams, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Present day-to-day work, strategies, and creative outputs to client teams, providing proactive best practice ideation and platform improvements.

Team Operations

  • Conducts regular team meetings and manage inter-team relationships to maximize team
  • Reviews creative work-in-progress and provides recommendations for strengthening before client presentations.
  • Oversees project process from opportunity brief to strategy development to creative through
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver executional excellence across all programs and initiatives.

Client Strategy/Thought Leadership

  • Drives effective solutions for client(s) by understanding their industry, organization and business
  • Ensures that appropriate measurement metrics are in place to meet client’s business

Program & Project Management

  • Oversee all aspects of program management, from opportunity brief to execution, ensuring high-quality, timely, and cost-effective delivery.
  • Manage sponsorship assets and related administrative documents, ensuring clarity and detail in all client communications.
  • Develop and implement measurement metrics to meet clients' business needs, ensuring continuous program enhancements and optimization.
  • Support the planning and execution of live events, contributing to event-related strategy development and conceptualization.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Manage the reporting and communication process with clients, providing regular updates and identifying optimization opportunities.
  • Create customized post-event/program reports, analyzing client engagement and the execution of all sponsorship assets.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, sponsorship landscapes, and competitive activities, sharing insights with colleagues and clients.

Growth

  • Monitors scope for opportunities to grow
  • Alert to opportunities for growth in other project
  • Begins to partner with Brand Marketing to develop award submissions and case

Sustainability

  • Drive sustainability in larger
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients about PLANET Plan goals

Accessibility

  • Lead by example in creating accessible and inclusive

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of the sports and entertainment marketing landscape, with a focus on sponsorship marketing and experiential/event marketing.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple programs and projects concurrently, with a detail-oriented and organized approach.
  • Excellent prioritization, time-management, and communication skills, with a commitment to delivering best-in-class client support.

In Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada and New York City the standard base pay range for this role is $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 annually, depending on relevant factors including experience, internal equity and market considerations. This base pay range is specific to Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, and New York City and may not be applicable to other locations.
