Golin New York is seeking a Manager, Earned Media & Digital Connector with experience in earned media, digital and social media marketing, who excels at building brands online to drive offline impact. You’ll work with a rock-star team of account, creative, and analytics experts to create and execute marketing and communications programs for our clients. We’re looking for Connector who can help shape stories to stand out among the thousands of pitches reporters receive every day, and build moments that spark conversation, drive engagement, and turn audiences into advocates. You’ll be the architect of integrated media and social strategies, seamlessly blending digital and earned approaches to create campaigns that don’t just show up but truly resonate and move the needle.

What You’ll Do:
- Maintain an intermediate understanding of how our core digital competencies (including analytics, content creation, community management, customer experience, influencer engagement, web strategy and earned/owned/paid media) work together to deliver success for our clients
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of the client’s (social/earned/influencer/paid) landscape
- Aid in executing media and digital campaigns from start to finish (ideation through execution)
- Own relationships with national media and new generation of media and influencers
- Pitch and secure stories with key top-tier media and media influencers
- Identify and capitalize on real-time cultural moments and trending conversations
- Develop story pitches and present to teams, clients, prospects
- Proofread and edit media and social content, as needed
- Immerse self in clients’ industries, brands and past media coverage
- Serve as day-to-day digital and earned lead for clients
- Consume all aspects of media and disseminate news trends to larger team
- Set digital strategy and drive daily actionable results through social content, influencer and community management
- Share ongoing status updates on progress against campaign goals and client objectives with Connectors and account team Catalysts (Account Management), and clients where appropriate
- Manage, mentor and coach junior staff with potential to directly oversee 2-3 individuals
- Work well under pressure, remaining calm and professional
What You Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field with 3+ years’ experience at a digital, advertising, media or digital-focused PR agency, and a deep understanding of social and digital marketing
- Experience working with multi-dimensional clients in consumer and lifestyle categories
- Proven skills to build brand-level earned social media strategies from scratch and translate them with complete fluency
- Passion for uncovering the latest digital marketing and social media to fuel big ideas and the curiosity to make them happen
- Experience creating and planning paid social and digital campaigns across social channels such as Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn
- Earned media contacts at national and local outlets
- A passion for and deep understanding for what will garner media attention and traction

- Highly adaptable and ability to shift priorities in real-time to meet client needs
- Preferred experience with tools and software (e.g. MuckRack, Sprinklr, Talkwalker, Tagger).
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation and problem-solving skills
Golin has included the base salary range or hourly rate for this role. Actual compensation offered within the range will depend upon, among other factors: a candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience; actual ranges for current or former employees in the role; and market considerations.
Salary range: $55,000 - $95,000
