Operations Coordinator, T&L Insurance

Location: Chicago, IL - Hybrid

Position Summary

Our Transportation and Logistics Practice specializes in insurance programs designed for logistics companies both domestically and internationally. Our experienced team of brokers brings an unparalleled level of service and expertise to this evolving niche market.

Position Responsibilities

  • Prepare Invoices and Invoice Calculations, consistent with binding documents, in support of client service account teams
  • Prepare/manage Premium Financing Agreements
  • Collect market invoices for placement, enter invoice data into Sagitta, and send all supporting documentation to the corporate accounting department
  • Assist Corporate Accounting with any questions that arise regarding specific accounts
  • Gather all supporting surplus line compliance documentation for non-admitted placements
  • Provide support to Account Teams, as needed, with client deliverables, policy reviews, certificates of insurance.
  • Provide support with accounts payable.
  • Generate reports for account teams and leadership.
  • Other administrative and project management duties.

Experience Requirements

  • College Degree preferred
  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar role in the insurance industry
  • Required skills
    • Sagitta and ImageRight
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to form relationships at all levels
    • Close attention to detail and ability to problem solve
    • The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced while delivering high quality results
    • A client-first and flexible attitude, with a focus on solutions
