Location
- Hybrid: Employees who are able to perform the essential functions of their jobs away from an Elevations location may do so with the expectation that they are onsite at least fifty percent of the time over a two-week pay period.
Summary/Objective
The Loan Officer Assistant II (LOA II) supports the Mortgage Loan Officer by managing the smooth, timely, and compliant progression of loans from application through closing. This role strengthens communication among members, realtors, processors, and underwriters while maintaining operational efficiency and adherence to regulations. The position requires strong organization, initiative, adaptability, and professionalism, consistently contributing to team success through high‑quality project management, analytical, marketing, and administrative support. An LOA II also assists by taking application information and providing phone or email coverage when the Loan Officer is unavailable, with guidance from an LOA Supervisor or designated Loan Officer.
Essential Functions.
- Take ownership of the mortgage loan process from application to funding, acting as project manager with minimal supervision.
- Interact with members, loan officers, fellow LOA’s, processors, underwriters, closers, title agents and real estate professionals in a collaborative and professional manner using clear and concise communication
- Schedule and attend pipeline meetings for loans in process
- Prepare and submit appraisal reconsiderations, rapid rescore requests and loan committee reviews with guidance from loan officer, or LOA Supervisor
- Manage critical dates for each mortgage loan; TRID compliance dates, purchase contract dates, loan availability date, appraisal consideration date and lock expiration dates. Alert the team when deadlines are approaching, anticipate any challenges, assisting to meet all deadlines
- Prepare and implement marketing ideas and support to expand loan officer referral partners and book of business

Required Skills, Education and Experience
- Minimum two years mortgage experience
- Knowledge of Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac guidelines, mortgage regulations and TRID compliance
- Familiarity with mortgage loan programs, structure, options and pricing
- Interpersonal Skills: Courtesy, tact, discretion and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Candidate must have an ability to foster positive work relationships with people both inside and outside the organization.
Preferred Skills, Education and Experience
- Mortgage sales experience preferred
Work Environment
Elevations uses multi-factor authentication to keep our data safe. As such, a personal smartphone is a requirement for employment with us. This job operates in an office setting and routinely uses standard office equipment.
Physical Requirements

Compensation:
The person hired into this position will likely earn between $21.44 and $26.78+ monthly incentive. The candidate's starting salary will be adjusted based upon his, her, or their experience.
Anticipated Application Window:
