Forecasting Analyst (Argentina)

We’re hiring a Forecasting Analyst to join our Forecasting Team at EMARKETER (Insider Intelligence), a globally renowned provider of research on digital advertising and ecommerce. For more information about this role, please view this link. 

This is a full-time contract role; we are looking for a commitment to the company of at least 2-3 years.

As a Forecasting Analyst, you will help clients identify key trends in EMARKETER’s core research coverage areas (advertising & marketing, ecommerce, financial services, health and technology across the digital landscape)—as well as help clients make smart decisions about digital marketing and media investments.

You will work directly with our forecasting team to develop EMARKETER estimates and forecasts and provide our content teams with insights to help develop reports, articles, press releases, videos and other interactive content as needed. The role provides rigorous, in-depth training on forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and analyze data and qualitative information from various sources related to EMARKETER coverage areas to update or develop models for proprietary estimates and forecasts.
  • Distill quantitative findings into insights and narratives that impact business objectives.
  • Stay on top of consumer digital trends.
  • Collaborate closely with the forecasting team and other stakeholders across content teams to identify new trends and topics that are valuable to EMARKETER clients and expand EMARKETER estimates and forecasts into those new areas.
  • Communicate regularly through presentations and written responses within the organization.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • An advanced quantitative background with relevant analytical experience in areas such as market research, marketing & advertising, consumer insights analysis and digital trends preferred
  • Experience presenting both internally and externally
  • Proven experience in market research in areas such as marketing & advertising, ecommerce and consumer technology adoption
  • Advanced Excel skills specifically used in data analysis
  • Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively in English

Salary:

  • This is a contractor role, paid in US dollars, at an annual salary of $38,000-$42,000
