About the Role:
We are looking for an ambitious self-starter who can turn data into actionable insights to drive channel decisions and performance. This role will put you in the middle of the action and require you to solve the most complex, interesting challenges of a rapidly-scaling startup. This is a high-visibility role designed to fast-track your career within the Marketing Analytics organization.
The ideal candidate combines channel management knowledge and communication skills with world class quantitative skills. As a Principal Marketing Data Analyst, you will be contributing to the Marketing team’s data modeling, core data pipelines, and data tooling (such as dashboarding, metric management, etc.). You will empower channel managers to use data more effectively to drive business value.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Communicate findings and insights to key stakeholders and influence channel managers to take action based on your recommendations
- Develop easy-to-consume dashboards and frameworks to monitor and visualize KPIs
- Identify opportunities to empower the marketing team with data and tools to improve performance, reduce pain points, and promote better decision making
- Data modeling and developing/maintaining core ETL pipelines and tables
- Run incremental lift (i.e. field) experiments for upper funnel channels
- Build and maintain marketing signals in dbt
Qualifications and Skills:
- Require
- 7+ years of experience in business intelligence or analytics in roles at well-established firms or high-growth tech startups
- 4+ years of experience building and maintaining BI reporting in a tool like tableau or Mode on a regular basis
- 4+ years of experience working with SQL on a regular basis
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, data science, business intelligence, or similar roles
- 2+ years of experience working directly or indirectly in channel optimization
- Foundational understanding of data architecture and data best practices
- Experience building API integrations and managing data pipelines
- Experience working with Python to generate business insights and drive better organizational decision making
- Prefer
- Experience in classification general linear model builds and ML pipelines
- Experience using statistical techniques such as difference-in-difference
- Experience in A/B testing and experimentation best practices

The US national base salary range for this full-time position is $133,000 - $236,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
