Position Summary 

The Business Development Representative (BDR) will add strategic value to the Marketing team by amplifying Ever.Ag’s presence and profitability within the mid-sized business segment. The BDR will achieve this by exceeding lead generation and qualification goals in the assigned territory, landing new logo customers for Ever.Ag offerings, identifying cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts, and collaborating with Marketing, Customer Success, and Sales teams to ensure a seamless customer journey and high satisfaction. This role will handle both outbound and inbound leads—including website form fills, chats, and hand raisers—and play a key role in supporting ABM (Account-Based Marketing) efforts. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Initiate outreach to both active customers and prospects via cold calling, warm leads, email marketing, and field inbound requests from website form fills, chats, and hand raisers. 

  • Actively support Account-Based Marketing efforts, focusing on targeted outreach, personalized messaging, and high-priority accounts in collaboration with Marketing and Sales teams. 

  • Collaborate with marketing to support lead generation campaigns, events, and webinars, ensuring quality follow-up and nurturing. 

  • Operate transparently within an activity-driven marketing team, focused on measurable goals and metrics. 

  • Engage prospects from mid-level management to C-Suite with a professional and polished demeanor that builds brand trust. 

  • Utilize call sheets and scripts for consistency but adapt messaging to align with campaign objectives and specific account needs. 

  • Execute a metrics-driven approach to continually prospect and qualify new leads, tracking progress against lead generation and ABM goals. 

  • Maintain accurate, detailed records of all outreach, lead, and prospecting activities to support alignment and handoffs between Marketing and Sales teams. 

  • Work closely with the Marketing team to align messaging, tactics, and follow-up, and with Customer Success to support lead nurturing and handoffs. 

  • Other duties as assigned 

 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree required. 

  • 2+ years in an outbound sales or marketing lead generation environment, with experience in ABM or inbound lead handling a plus. 

  • Agricultural Experience preferred

  • Enthusiasm for driving growth through outbound and inbound marketing strategies, with a special focus on ABM techniques. 

  • Technology industry experience or familiarity with B2B marketing principles is a plus. 

  • Eager to be coached, trained, and mentored in a marketing-driven environment. 

  • Ability to work autonomously, think creatively, and be self-motivated. 

  • Experience with Salesforce and Outreach is strongly preferred. 

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. 

Competencies for Success 

  • Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.  

  • Math Ability: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.  

  • Reasoning Ability:  Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.  

  • Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office suite and should otherwise be comfortable leveraging a personal computer to aid and assist in managing tasks, duties, and workload.
