About the Role
Everway is in an exciting growth phase and is now strengthening its training and competence development efforts. In this role, you will play a key role in developing and implementing learning strategies with a primary focus on the education sector in the Nordics. Key areas will include digital learning, tailored pedagogical methods, and course development. You will also contribute to internal training initiatives to enhance the organization’s expertise.
We are looking for a candidate with solid experience in the Norwegian education sector who can bring pedagogical and market expertise to our training department.
This is a full-time, permanent position based in Oslo.
As the leader of our pedagogical team, you will be responsible for all activities related to training and competence development. You will be integrated into Everway’s conceptual training approach and play a central role in the development of strategies, concepts, and learning programs.
Your responsibilities will include conducting training sessions on how to effectively use our programs, developing educational resources for use in schools, and planning and delivering webinars and professional seminars. This role will give you the opportunity to build a large network within the Nordic school and education system.
Additionally, you will be part of our Nordic cross-functional team, working on strategy and product development while collaborating extensively with Everway’s global resources. Travel within the Nordics is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop training materials with a strong emphasis on practical value and pedagogical relevance.
- Lead the creation of engaging learning resources for teachers, students, and parents, including instructional videos and presentations.
- Actively contribute to the Government Grant team, helping to develop and implement strategies that strengthen Everway’s market position.
- Deliver both in-person and digital training sessions on the use of our programs. Travel is required.
- Conduct market-based competitor analysis.
- Ensure Everway Nordics remains compliant with current laws and regulations within the education sector.
- Collaborate with the product development team to enhance our programs based on market demands.
- Serve as office manager at our Oslo office.
Essential Criteria
- Teaching experience, primarily in primary or secondary education (VGS).
- Experience in using digital tools to create inclusive learning environments.
- Familiarity with LST (Learning Support Technology) and other education-focused technologies.
- Knowledge of Norwegian school legislation and governing documents.
- Fluent in Norwegian and English (spoken and written).
- Creative and innovative approach to teaching and learning.
Desirable Criteria
- Leadership experience is desirable but not required.
- Experience working with dyslexia and/or other learning difficulties in the classroom.
- Higher education in pedagogy.
