Quantitative Portfolio Manager
The Role
We're seeking an experienced Quantitative Portfolio Manager to serve as a versatile strategist across our investment platform. Your Impact

8+ years of experience at a mid-sized, systematically-oriented asset management firm
Deep fixed income expertise with experience in corporate credit, duration management, and yield curve positioning
Robust technical skill set, including Python coding for building products, data access, and algorithm implementation
Experience designing upstream processes that can be successfully automated
Strong internal communication skills and ability to drive projects forward with ownership
Expertise in portfolio construction, risk management, and quantitative methods
Experience with portfolio analytics tools
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in relevant field preferred

Corporate Development - M&A Manager
The Role
With $13 billion in assets under management, we've achieved significant growth through advisor recruitment and have expanded our business strategy to include practice acquisitions. Our technology platform enables us to serve clients more effectively and cost-efficiently, offering advisors who join Farther as employees a high payout of wealth advisory fees while maintaining low personnel costs for acquired practices.
This role combines M&A expertise and execution excellence to drive Farther's acquisition strategy within the RIA space. You will be responsible for evaluating and executing M&A opportunities with retiring advisors and RIA firms.
Your Impact
Lead end-to-end M&A processes, from target identification through deal execution and integration
Work with internal and external sourcing resources to build the industry's best acquisition go-to-market strategy, leveraging the Farther platform
Develop compelling business cases for sellers while generating strong economics for the company
Create comprehensive valuation models and committee memorandum and conduct thorough due diligence on potential acquisitions
Structure and negotiate complex deal terms that align with Farther's strategic objectives
Design and implement post-merger integration strategies to ensure successful transitions
Collaborate with operations, product, recruiting, finance, legal, and compliance teams to execute deals efficiently
Build an industry network and cement Farther as the acquirer of choice
The Ideal Match
4+ years of relevant experience in business development, corporate development, M&A advisory, private equity, or investment banking
MBA from a top-tier institution
Strong understanding of finance principles and deal construction
Proven track record in executing M&A transactions
Excellence in relationship building and stakeholder management
Strong financial modeling and valuation skills
Demonstrated ability to communicate persuasively and discuss economics with potential sellers
Resilient and results-oriented approach
Series 63 license preferred

VP, Servicing Wealth Advisor
The Role
We're seeking an experienced Advisor to be the advisor for a book of business we have acquired. This is a unique opportunity to step into an established client base and focus on delivering exceptional service and maintaining strong client relationships. You'll partner closely with our centralized RIA team to ensure seamless client service and continuity.
This role is perfect for a seasoned advisor who excels at client relationship management and who wants to focus on service excellence, rather than business development. You'll have the backing of Farther's modern intelligent wealth management platform while working with an established, high-quality client base.
Your Impact
Meet regularly with existing clients to assess their evolving financial needs, goals, income, expenses, assets, liabilities, and risk tolerance to maintain and update comprehensive financial plans
Provide ongoing advice on investments, suggest suitable financial products, and work with our operations team to execute trades and adjustments to achieve client goals
Regularly review client accounts and market performance to recommend portfolio adjustments, ensuring plans remain effective as client circumstances and market conditions change
Educate clients on various investment options, financial strategies, and help them understand potential risks associated with different choices
Schedule and conduct regular client meetings, prepare detailed reports, and maintain proactive communication to address client questions and concerns
Work closely with the momentum team to ensure seamless service delivery and leverage combined expertise for optimal client outcomes
Maintain accurate client records, documentation, and ensure adherence to all financial regulations and fiduciary standards

CFP Certification Required - Active CFP designation with commitment to ongoing professional development
Service-oriented experience with 5+ years in wealth management demonstrating exceptional client service, relationship maintenance, and client retention
Strong understanding of investments, retirement planning, tax strategies, estate planning, and risk management
Ability to assess financial situations, analyze market trends, and develop sound financial plan adjustments
Exceptional ability to clearly explain complex financial information and strategies to clients of varying sophistication levels
Experience regularly reviewing client accounts, monitoring market performance, and making strategic recommendations
Based in or willing to relocate to Nashville, TN or Little Rock, AR area for in-person client meetings
Series 65 or equivalent registration with clean U4
Experience working effectively with support staff and other advisors in a team-based service model
Demonstrated commitment to fiduciary duty and acting in clients' best interests

Experience managing servicing responsibilities for books of business valued at $100M+ AUM
Background working specifically with high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth clientele in an advisory capacity
