ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Retention Marketing Specialist who will be a tactical execution expert for customer-first, integrated marketing campaigns and initiatives. As part of our team, you will drive marketing execution in your assigned area. You will develop, implement, assess, report, and communicate on high-performing, data-driven integrated marketing tactics and campaigns.
You will be the execution expert for your assigned areas, while also collaborating closely with our creative, site operations, and strategy teams to ensure the on-time, on-strategy, and highest-quality delivery of marketing campaigns and initiatives for the company.
To succeed in this role, you must keep pace in a highly fluid, ever-changing, collaborative workplace. You must also have excellent communication skills and have a true passion for people.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee email, push, and SMS campaign execution; own the day-to-day execution of retention and lifecycle marketing campaigns.
- Develop, implement, execute, and communicate on high-performing, data-driven integrated marketing tactics and campaigns.
- Leverage strong project management skills and a customer-forward view of marketing communications to improve retention marketing plans.
- Collaborate closely with our creative and site operations teams to deliver the highest quality marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Accountable for on-time, on-strategy delivery of marketing campaigns.
- Be the "go-to" expert in Fashion Nova’s integrated marketing campaigns and initiatives, including processes, tools, and technologies related to assigned area(s.)
- Review and provide copy development support to the creative team for marketing materials; create well-written copy that is free from mistakes and on-brand
- Manage workflow, review cycle, and approvals of marketing materials from multiple internal and external parties.
- Implement, update and manage campaigns end-to-end, including content creation, basic template design|updates, call-to-action, landing page form|development, workflow automation, A|B testing and metrics reporting
- Conduct market research to better comprehend prevailing consumer behaviors to build effective target audiences and segments for messages to drive engagement and revenue performance against KPI goals.
- Maintaining, segmenting, and growing customer lists who have opted to receive emails
- Keeping current on email|SMS trends and policies
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of four years experience in Marketing, Communications, or related fields
- Must be able to handle a wide variety of work in a fast-paced environment, balance competing priorities, and deliver on tight deadlines in a detail-oriented manner.
- Experience with email and SMS marketing platforms, Shopify Plus, and Google Analytics; direct experience with Klaviyo and Attentive a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an attention to detail.
- Ability to raise issues and lead project management of tactical elements of integrated campaigns.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data and solve practical problems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, Sheets, Docs, etc.).
- BA|BS degree or equivalent work experience.
- English, additional language(s) an advantage.
- This position is onsite at our HQ, core business hours
- While standard business hours are typical, occasional evening or weekend support may be needed, especially during peak seasons
