The Position:

FastSpring is seeking a full-time Data Analytics intern for a four (4) month internship to join our Sales Operations team. Successful candidates should have a passion for using analysis to drive business decisions and outcomes. This is an opportunity for exposure to advanced data-driven prospecting and sales hunting techniques in the complex and nuanced SaaS FinTech Payments market. 

Expect to work closely with the Director of Sales Ops, Sales Leadership, and a variety of other key cross-functional operations and analytics team members learning analytical assessment and lead generation techniques in support of driving revenue acceleration. You will also learn a variety of software including Salesforce, Looker, 6Sense, ZoomInfo, SimilarWeb, Google Analytics, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and others.

Hourly Rate: $20.00

Hours: Must be able to work 35 hours/week, Targeted start date: Mid-January

Skills & Experience:

  • Data-driven decision making execution: maintains existing and creates new analyses useful in identifying and actioning market opportunities.
  • Ability to glean business-actionable insights from analysis, identifying potential business actions to grow market share.
  • Has a passion for problem solving and isolating actionable performance drivers.
  • Builds and maintains Salesforce reporting, and uses a variety of 3rd party data aggregation and reporting tools used for data-driven prospecting.
  • Understands the basic concepts of A/B testing to isolate preferred alternatives.
  • Prepares and distributes key sales reports for relevant stakeholders, including leader, and senior leader, and executive audiences.
  • Uses generative AI to optimize areas of salesforce and business operations
  • Proposes campaign change recommendations, as well as campaign execution refinement recommendations based on analysis findings.
  • Drives TAM (Total Addressable Market) Analysis & lead selection: analyzes a variety of firmographic, technographic, and behavioral data sources and signals used to select areas of campaign focus.
  • Configures systems and aligns data flows across the Sales-Marketing tech stack

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current college/university student (3rd/4th year BA, or Masters) pursuing a relevant degree or a recent graduate
  • Strong data analysis aptitude
  • Eager to learn
  • A passion for problem solving
  • Strong work ethic, with an interest in one of a variety of analytical fields (finance, sales/marketing analytics, business analyst, data sciences, IT analytics, etc)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Intermediate Google Office Suite (G-Sheets modeling) and SQL skills
  • Experience /familiarity working within Salesforce is a plus
  • Experience with Python/R also a plus

The base pay range below represents a good faith estimate of the low and high end base pay range for the listed position. This role may be eligible for the corporate bonus plan (or, if a sales role, a commission plan as defined in the sales incentive plan document). In addition, FastSpring provides a variety of benefits to employees.
