About the Role

As VP of Marketing, you will be instrumental in fueling customer acquisition and growth across our embedded lending business, our direct to consumer strategy, and our investor marketplace.  

You will execute marketing campaigns targeted to both executives and sales people at our partner organizations, as well as the end-customers / borrowers.  Target partners include fintech platforms, mortgage banks, servicers, regional banks, credit unions, home improvement contractors, and home services companies.  Our expanding product offering includes a suite of products across lending and capital markets services. 

Success in this role requires a synergistic marketing strategy across all segments. Our integrated marketing campaigns \incorporate earned / organic, direct mail, media / communications, paid, social, influencer, content and community.  You will lead the team that drives and measures these efforts.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aimed at bolstering 1) partner and partner-salesforce acquisition and 2) homeowner engagement and acquisition.
  • Oversee the performance marketing and business-to-business marketing units to optimize marketing efforts and achieve targeted volume at budgeted CAC.
  • Integrate cross-channel campaigns across multiple teams and platforms within the sales and marketing ecosystem at Figure.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with core business objectives.
  • Provide regular reporting on vital campaign metrics while facilitating the exchange of information across Figure’s business units.
  • Develop customer profiles and propensity models to bolster both acquisition and retention efforts.
  • Engage with the Communications team to collaborate on content, campaigns, and messaging
  • Assess resource allocation in conjunction with key stakeholders and oversee internal marketing agency teams (creative and content) to ensure optimal performance.
  • Manage marketing expenditure in alignment with business partners, optimizing investments with agencies and suppliers.
  • Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual goal-setting sessions to drive strategic alignment and achievement of objectives.

What We Look For:

  • Minimum of 10+ years of marketing management experience, with a proven track record in a similar Marketing Leadership role 
  • A blend of experience in both early-stage startups and established companies – preferably with a growth-stage financial technology business
  • Track record of success in campaign development, strategic content planning, and audience engagement across channels to hit ambitious targets.
  • Ability to design compelling content and journeys based on market segment and customer demographics to increase top of funnel volume and conversion to maximize loan growth 
  • A compelling storyteller / product marketer with a talent for effectively communicating product value propositions to business, partner and end consumer audiences. 
  • Ability to clearly articulate and execute marketing strategy, including vision and strategy at the Board level
  • An entrepreneurial mindset characterized by flexibility, experimentation, and resourcefulness, including the ability to build things from scratch, iterate quickly, and pivot on the fly.
  • Proficient in leveraging data insights to tailor messaging and optimize campaign effectiveness through rigorous testing and piloting.
  • Demonstrates unwavering drive to achieve tangible results and generate overall value for FigureTechnology Solutions.

For CO, NY, CA, and WA residents, the salary range is $206,800 - $258,500 with up to a 25% Bonus and Equity. Actual compensation may vary based on individual candidate experience and location.
