IT Operations Specialist

Figure is an AI Robotics company developing a general purpose humanoid. Our humanoid robot is designed for commercial tasks and the home. We are based in San Jose, CA and require 5 days/week in-office collaboration. It’s time to build.

We are looking for an IT Operations Specialist. In summary, you’ll work closely with the Information Technology team to help expand our HQ presence by providing IT support on-site and using remote tools as necessary across different buildings within HQ. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong professionalism in delivering excellent customer service, using sound judgment for timely problem resolution. They should understand office culture, maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, and possess 3+ years of IT support experience with Linux, Windows, and Mac troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Document, track, and monitor customer problems to ensure timely resolution through common customer request methods (Ticketing Systems, Chat Software, Email, etc.)
  • Assist in building and documenting standards and IT policies across the company
  • Support lifecycle processes in the onboarding/offboarding of Figure employees
  • Maintain inventory of equipment and IT assets; ensure compliance standards are followed
  • Support common IT services: Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, security hardware, etc...
  • Maintain relationships with vendors and cross-functional teams
  • Be an advocate for knowledge sharing across IT
  • Provide AV Operational support in conference rooms and phone booths
  • Provide event-related support in conference rooms and large meeting spaces
  • Maintain and manage printer-related requests

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience providing support in a corporate environment
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting Linux, Mac, and Windows systems
  • Basic knowledge of Windows 10/11 PC hardware, Linux software troubleshooting, and Mac environment and hardware troubleshooting
  • Foundational network knowledge such as network configurations, VPN provisioning and troubleshooting, etc...
  • Proficiency with video conferencing tools (Google Meet/Zoom)

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with enterprise tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, JIRA, and Zoom
  • Experience with ticketing support platforms such as JIRA
  • Extensive knowledge of macOS, iOS, Apple hardware, Windows 10/11, and Linux (Ubuntu versions)
  • Strong customer service, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities
  • Experience in a fast-paced, globally relevant enterprise environment
  • Detail-oriented and process-driven, especially regarding process and policy standard documenting 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $80,000 - $120,000 annually.

The pay offered for this position may vary based on several individual factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include additional components/benefits depending on the specific role. This information will be shared if an employment offer is extended.
