Marketplace Vendor Partner Success Manager

The Marketplace Team at Fleetio is expanding and has an opportunity for a Marketplace Vendor Partner Success Manager to join our team. Our Marketplace team operates as a startup within a Series C scale up, focused on driving GMV growth by facilitating a seamless experience that connects our fleet customers with our Marketplace partners. This role will be a key contributor to Fleetio’s growth and requires someone who can leverage their industry knowledge to manage the full lifecycle of a vendor from onboarding to relationship management.

Who you are

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who brings an understanding of the operations & business model of national and independent automotive service providers, and enjoys building and managing collaborative relationships to ensure a seamless experience between the fleets and these service partners within our Marketplace application.

Your impact

  • Source, build, maintain, onboard and enhance relationships with a diverse range of marketplace vendors including National, Regional, Mobile and Independent Maintenance Shops.
  • Support and manage seamless onboarding experience for new Marketplace partners.
  • Serve as Tier 2 customer support for vendor issues.
  • Regularly assess success metrics and vendor relationship and work with the vendor on any issues or discrepancies promptly to implement improvements/solutions.
  • Identify and champion process and product gaps, partner needs, and other insights to improve the Partner experience.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Partnerships, Product, and Support to drive successful outcomes for Partners and Fleetio customers.
  • Be the face of Fleetio to our Marketplace partners, providing leadership within Fleetio on industry trends and emerging vendors.

Your experience

  • Industry Expertise:
    • 3+ years of experience in the automative repair industry with exposure to fleet managed maintenance programs and/or automotive retail fleet account programs.
    • 2+ years in a software company in a customer success/account executive role.
  • Functional Expertise: Activating, onboarding, enabling, and supporting automotive retailers on national fleet maintenance programs (transaction approvals, digital shop tools, billing, etc), or, managing the day-to-day relationship between your company’s national fleet account program and fleet management companies.
  • Sales Exposure: Ability to articulate a value proposition and overcome objections.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Ability to work across diverse teams in a matrixed environment.
  • Adaptability: Comfort in dealing with the ambiguity and pace of working in a fast-paced startup-within-a-scaleup environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Solid analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive Mindset: Proactive, hands-on mindset with solid time management skills and ability to manage products and meet deadlines.
  • Relationship building: Ability to establish and maintain a constructive, positive, and collaborative relationship with partners, coworkers, and vendors.
  • Technical proficiency: Highly proficient in computer skills, including Google Suite, Slack, CRM, and software/channel sales tools.

Considered a plus

  • ASE Certification, Current or Past.
  • Experience with the Automotive Repair Industry.
  • Fluent in French (Nice to Have, not a Requirement).
  • Experience supporting software product development teams with voice of vendor partner feedback to improve vendor partner experience.
