About Us: 
Schumacher’s leading name in manufacturing and distributing fabrics, wallcovering, and furnishings is growing, and we’re looking for a dynamic Showroom Sales Representative to join our team based at the Pacific Design Center in Los Angeles. This role is an exciting opportunity to partner closely with an outside sales representative (Account Executive) to drive sales and expand our reach across the greater Los Angeles territory, including Malibu, the Valley, Santa Barbara, Bakersfield, and San Luis Obispo. 

Role Overview: 
In this role, you will collaborate with the Account Executive to foster relationships, manage accounts, and support sales efforts in the field. Your primary responsibility will be driving sales growth within your assigned territory through proactive outreach, showroom engagement, and strategic account management. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is solution-oriented, and consistently goes above and beyond to meet sales goals while maintaining exceptional customer service standards. 

You will report to the Regional Director and be part of a team dedicated to offering high-end, beautiful products while elevating customer experience. A passion for design and a dedication to excellence is essential as we strive to be leaders in the interior design community. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Proactive Sales & Lead Conversion: Conduct high-volume outreach to generate interest, engage with prospects, and convert leads into sales through calls, emails, and other communications. 
  • Collaborative Sales Planning: Work hand-in-hand with the Account Executive to develop a monthly “plan of attack,” prioritizing clients and territories, setting KPIs, and strategizing how to hit sales goals. 
  • Efficient Sales Funnel Management: Ensure timely processing of sample deliveries, quotes, and order placements to meet client needs quickly and effectively. 
  • Strategic Problem-Solving: Offer creative and strategic solutions to help clients overcome any obstacles to purchase and provide support when challenges arise. 
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams to solve problems and offer comprehensive solutions for clients. 
  • Product Knowledge: Continuously expand your knowledge of our product offerings to best serve clients and offer tailored recommendations. 
  • Exceptional Customer Experience: Provide an inviting and high-quality experience for showroom visitors, ensuring that every interaction is friendly, professional, and helpful.

Job Requirements: 

  • 2+ years of experience in a home furnishings/interior design sales role or similar field. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • A passion for interior design, textiles, and furnishings. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and maintain a positive, professional attitude. 
  • Experience in social media content creation is a plus.
