The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Director of Engineering to lead the technical strategy, development and execution of both our Digital Banking Framework and Digital Banking Platform. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for building the foundational infrastructure that powers our hosted customer-facing experiences.
This leader will drive the design and delivery of platform capabilities that support scalable, performant, and secure digital products. You’ll manage multiple teams, align cross-functional stakeholders, and ensure the frameworks and services your org delivers accelerate—not constrain—product development across the company.
What You’ll Do:
- Own the technical vision and delivery execution
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and other engineering leaders to align platform work with business needs
- Ensure the platform supports rapid product development across dozens of different customer programs while maintaining quality, compliance, and operational excellence
- Attract, retain, and develop top-tier engineering talent
- Foster a culture of technical excellence, ownership, and customer-centric thinking
- Manage multiple remote engineering teams across platform and framework domains
- Ensure reliable, secure, and scalable engineering practices
- Measure and improve time-to-market metrics
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years in software engineering, including 5+ years of proven experience in leadership roles, preferably within mobile and web domain, including backend.
- Deep expertise in designing and managing cloud-based solutions with a strong focus on resiliency .
- Strong understanding of agile development principles and tools.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Experience with AWS (or other public cloud infra) and modern mobile stacks
- Experience working in a regulated industry, such as finance, is a plus.
- Bi-Lingual Spanish/English is required.
US-Based Base Compensation
$192,000 - $330,000 USD
