Position Summary
General Atlantic is looking to hire an Associate to join the Investor Services Team in our Stamford, CT office to lead the operational management of the firm’s Investor Portal and investor communications platforms. This role ensures that investor-facing documents, notices, and updates are posted and distributed accurately, securely, and in alignment with firm and regulatory requirements. The Associate will develop a strong command of the firm’s portal technology, CRM, and digital communication tools, supporting mission-critical investor interactions and helping maintain GA’s reputation for operational excellence and service quality. This is a hands-on, detail-intensive role requiring excellent technical fluency, process discipline, high risk awareness and professional content management and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage and execute posting of investor documents, including quarterly reporting, legal documents, tax documents, capital calls, distributions and other material, to the GA Investor Portal, ensuring accuracy, correct formatting, metadata tagging, and access controls
- Perform quality control reviews and escalate discrepancies promptly
- Administer user access provisioning, permissioning, and content audit processes to uphold information security standards
- Maintain and evolve standard operating procedures for portal posting, file naming, and retention compliance
- Coordinate closely with Fund Finance, Legal, and IT to ensure proper alignment between system configurations and fund structures
- Execute transactional, operational and ad-hoc investor communications through the firm’s Investor Portal and marketing automation tools
- Manage templates, distribution regulations, campaign approvals, and test mailings to ensure flawless execution and compliance with GA communication standards and fund governing documents
- Track and report on engagement analytics, bounce management, and deliverability metrics
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate multi-channel investor communications around key events
- Support contact management and segmentation within GA’s enterprise CRM, ensuring that contact hierarchies, permissions, and preferences are accurate as they are inherited from the firm’s onboarding platform and evolve through change management activity
- Partner with Technology and Marketing teams to optimize data integrations between the CRM, portal, and communication tools
- Maintain rigorous documentation and audit trails for all portal postings and investor communications
- Provide timely, professional, and solution-oriented responses to internal and external inquiries related to the Investor Portal, document access, or investor communications. Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure accurate and consistent messaging
- Uphold GA’s standards of data integrity, consistency, and control for all investor-facing systems
- Participate in UAT for new portal and communication system enhancements
- Support the Investor Services team broadly with other daily work and special projects as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in financial services operations, investor relations support, or digital content management
- Experience working with investor portals, CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and marketing automation tools such as Marketing Cloud
- Understanding of data governance principles, content lifecycle management, and audit controls
- Exceptional attention to detail, particularly in the handling and posting of sensitive investor materials
- Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of handling a high volume of concurrent deliverables
- Demonstrated ability to follow structured processes and uphold control standards under time pressure
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; confident working across internal and external teams
- Prior exposure to private equity or alternative asset management, and understanding of private equity fund lifecycles
- Understanding of fund documentation, LP communications, and data privacy/security requirements
- Experience managing digital platforms or content workflows with complex permissioning or data hierarchies
- Collaborative, proactive, and adaptable approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for deliverables

General Atlantic offers a robust reward program to all employees that will support you and your family, maintaining fulfilling, secure and healthy lives now and into the future, which includes but is not limited to medical insurance, retirement savings contributions, mental and physical health resources and an equal pay program that allows you to earn a base salary of $100,000 - $140,000 USD, of which the exact amount offered will be driven by the degree to which you meet role requirements, additional special skills and experience.
