About the team:

You will be joining the team behind the award-winning Goodnotes iPad app. This team is responsible for building our product for all Apple platforms and ensuring that our users have an exceptional experience using Goodnotes, whether on mobile, tablet, or desktop.

About the role:

Goodnotes is seeking an experienced Product Team Lead to drive the success of Goodnotes on Apple platforms. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with Apple and lead a critical component of our product strategy, impacting millions of users worldwide.

The perfect fit for this role is a passionate, business-savvy product leader. You should be comfortable managing high-level partnerships and driving product strategy in a fast-paced environment. You'll be at the forefront of productivity tool innovation, working with a dedicated team to shape the future of digital note-taking and collaboration.

This is the role for you, if you’re excited to work on the things listed below:

  • Own the business strategy, prioritization, and product roadmap for Goodnotes on all Apple platforms
  • Manage and nurture partnerships with Apple, acting as a key liaison
  • Drive business metrics including downloads, retention, and renewals
  • Oversee product strategies and product development to address user needs and capture market opportunities
  • Lead a team of skilled professionals, across engineering and design
  • Collaborate closely with non-product functions, such as marketing, customer support, and executive leadership


The skills you will need to be successful in the above:

  • 8+ years experience in product management on Apple platforms
  • Deep understanding of Apple's ecosystem and productivity tools
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills
  • Proven track record of driving product success and revenue growth
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • MBA preferred

The interview process:

  • An introductory call with someone from our talent acquisition team. They want to hear more about your background, what you are looking for, and why you’d like to join GoodNotes
  • A call with our founder and CEO, Steven, to discuss your background and skillset for this role more in detail and to assess your fit for the role
  • A call with our Product Director of Education
  • A call with our VP of Engineering
  • A meet the team call with 2 or 3 GoodPeople you’d be working closely with at Goodnotes
