The Opportunity
To achieve our ambitious goals, we’re looking for Full Stack Software Engineers to join our engineering teams.
Superhuman's engineers and researchers have the freedom to innovate and uncover breakthroughs—and, in turn, influence our product roadmap. In this role, you will:
- Build and maintain development tools that empower Superhuman’s builders to create feature code more efficiently and effectively.
- Work as part of an internal Platform team, working with Developer Experience and Tools, helping to propagate best development practices across the company through tooling, or Release Engineering, focused on building and maintaining the company’s CI/CD infrastructure.
- Contribute to an engineering culture with a strong emphasis on documentation, testing, and user experience.
- Collaborate closely with internal customers to identify pain points, gather requirements, and deliver impactful tools that streamline engineering workflows.
- Champion platform philosophy and actively contribute to shaping the team’s approach and priorities.
- Work in a collaborative environment in Berlin, ensuring knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team.
- Have the opportunity to be mentored and become a mentor.
Qualifications
- Brings at least 5 years of experience in full-stack software development.
- Displays excellent software engineering fundamentals, including knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
- Has experience building, deploying, and debugging production systems at scale.
- Comfortable working with data to inform decision-making.
- Demonstrates exceptional coding skills with a proven ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Demonstrates perseverance in resolving challenging technical issues.
- Cares about the end-user experience and strives to ensure high quality.
- Can collaborate in person in our Berlin hub two days per week.
- Has a demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal guidance, proactively manages tasks and priorities across multiple projects, analyzes and executes work efficiently, collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams, and thrives in fast-paced, results-driven environments.
