Job Summary:
The Paralegal will be a corporate generalist who will assist attorney(s) by providing clerical and research support services including document preparation and review; meeting with internal and external clients; research, investigations, and fact checking; and maintaining various organizational databases.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Legal Research and Document Preparation: Conducting thorough research on case law, statutes, and regulations, as well as drafting various legal documents such as contracts, memoranda, and reports.
- Contract Management: Assist with the drafting, review, and negotiation of contracts to ensure legal soundness and alignment with company interests. This can include drafting and revising contracts, monitoring compliance, and maintaining contract databases.
- Regulatory Compliance: Assisting the legal team and other departments to ensure the organization complies with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Mergers and Acquisitions: Assist with all corporate M&A work. Assist with providing documents and diligence for any divestiture and maintain corporate data rooms.
- Litigation Support: Providing support during litigation by organizing case files, assisting with discovery, and coordinating with external legal counsel.
- Intellectual Property Support: Assist with U.S. intellectual property filings as well as help maintain IP corporate database. Monitoring filing and renewal requirements on a global basis.
- Maintaining Corporate Records: Assist with drafting and maintaining organizational documents and filing annual required reports.
- Communication and Coordination: Acting as a liaison between the legal department and other departments, ensuring legal considerations are integrated into business activities.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
- Associate degree in Paralegal Studies or related field required, Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred.
- Paralegal certificate required.
- Some related experience preferred.
