We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Influencer Marketer to join the Community Marketing team. In this role, you will wear both partner management and execution hats, focusing on identifying and cultivating long-term relationships with SMB influencers. You will also be responsible for creating tailored content strategies, developing scripts and working cross-functionally to build promotional offers and amplify these efforts through paid media campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Influencer Identification & Selection: Research, identify, and reach out to a select group of influencers whose audience and values align with Gusto. Focus on influencers with a proven track record of engagement and influence in our target markets.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate relationships with influencers and/or their agents, ensuring smooth collaboration and timely communication. Act as the main point of contact throughout the partnership lifecycle.
- Custom Content Creation: Develop unique scripts, promotional content, and offers tailored specifically for each influencer, ensuring messaging aligns with brand values and objectives.
- Campaign Execution: Manage the execution of influencer partnerships from start to finish, including influencer outreach, content approval, and content scheduling.
- Paid Media Amplification: Allocate and manage budgets for paid amplification of influencer content across appropriate social platforms to maximize reach and engagement.
- Reporting & Analysis: Track and analyze the performance of influencer campaigns, including engagement rates, ROI, and conversion metrics. Provide actionable insights and recommendations for optimizing future campaigns.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g., Brand Studios, Product, Marketing, Social, Community) to ensure the influencer content integrates seamlessly with ongoing marketing initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (5-8+ years) in influencer marketing, with a strong understanding of working with mid-tier influencers.
- Ability to identify and evaluate influencers based on data-driven insights.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple influencer relationships and campaigns simultaneously.
- Proficient in creating compelling and tailored content for influencers.
- Experience with paid media amplification of influencer content on platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- A passion for staying on top of industry trends and new influencer marketing tactics.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience with influencer marketing platforms and analytics tools.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Our base salary cash compensation range for this role is $110,000 to $130,000/yearly in Denver & and $130,000 - $155,000,000/yr for San Francisco & New York. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
Gusto has physical office spaces in Denver, San Francisco, and New York City. Employees who are based in those locations will be expected to work from the office on designated days approximately 2-3 days per week (or more depending on role). The same office expectations apply to all Symmetry roles, Gusto's subsidiary, whose physical office is in Scottsdale.
Note: The San Francisco office expectations encompass both the San Francisco and San Jose metro areas.
When approved to work from a location other than a Gusto office, a secure, reliable, and consistent internet connection is required.
