JOB SUMMARY

The SAP Systems & Business Applications Intern will support the maintenance, improvement, and day-to-day operation of HexArmor’s business systems, including SAP Business One (B1) and related third-party platforms such as warehouse management, MRP planning, EDI trading, ecommerce, and customer portals.

This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience with enterprise systems and business operations. The intern will assist with support requests, documentation, data quality efforts, and system improvement initiatives while learning how integrated business systems support organizational performance.

Working alongside experienced team members, this role offers the opportunity to develop technical, analytical, and business process skills while gaining exposure to real-world ERP environments.

We are looking for a motivated learner who is eager to explore enterprise software, understand business operations, and grow into a future systems or business technology professional.

LOCATION

HexArmor HQ - 640 Leffingwell Ave NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49505. This position will be fully onsite for the entirety of the internship program. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Learn the core functionality and business use of SAP Business One and integrated systems
  • Assist with SAP support requests and participate in the ticket intake and triage process
  • Help document workflows, standard procedures, and system best practices
  • Support data cleanup, standardization, and master data accuracy initiatives
  • Observe and assist in troubleshooting integration issues between connected systems
  • Collaborate with Business Intelligence and IT teams to support data consistency efforts
  • Support cross-system integrations (SAP, CRM, reporting tools, and EDI interfaces)
  • Assist with report generation, queries, and data validation tasks
  • Participate in process improvement projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Help maintain system documentation and support materials for end users
  • Assist with vendor coordination and system enhancement projects under supervision

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • Interest in business systems, ERP software, or technology-driven operations
  • Basic understanding of business workflows and data organization concepts
  • Familiarity with Excel and data handling; exposure to SQL or reporting tools
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving curiosity
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Detail-oriented with a desire to learn and improve processes
  • Self-motivated and eager to develop new technical skills

COMPENSATION

  • $20/hour
