About the Role:
Join our team at Hims and Hers Health, Inc. (Hims & Hers) as a Senior Network Engineer. We're a groundbreaking multi-specialty telehealth platform, revolutionizing healthcare accessibility. With a focus on network infrastructure solutions and cloud networking expertise you'll help shape our dynamic network infrastructure. Your role directly impacts how we connect consumers to licensed healthcare professionals, making better health easily attainable. You should be a forward thinking, innovative individual driven to identify updated tactics to traditional and/or complex problems.
You Will:
- Implement and maintain network architecture emphasizing next-gen Cisco, Palo Alto, and AWS cloud networking solutions at Hims and Hers Health
- Become a technical SME for any assigned project or task
- Monitor all infrastructure systems to verify all are working correctly using DataDog
- Ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of in-house information systems that support core organizational functions at Hims and Hers Health
- Provide tier 3 support of any infrastructure pertaining to network operations or operational impact
- Build and maintain SOPs, best practices, hardening documentation, and other internal reference documentation
- Follow standards and best practices set in place by Security and Network leadership
- Assist with development of Disaster Recovery play books and operational implementation
- Maintain and execute an infrastructure systems backup plan
- Perform technological audits (config and best practices) on a scheduled annual cadence
- Proactively evaluate and implement security measures specific to Hims and Hers Health, safeguarding sensitive data and ensuring compliance
- Maintain on-premises and remote connectivity for our Hybrid users by supporting ZTNA solutions, IPSec site-to-site connectivity, additionally mesh and/or hub and spoke SDWAN architecture
- Expertise with Route & Switch, WLAN, DDI solutions, Out of Band Management, NAC, and Layer 7 firewalls
- Excellence in cross-functional collaboration with multiple technical and non-technical teams and departments
- Ability to clearly communicate with any organizational unit
- Participate in on-call rotations, reflecting our commitment to patient well-being
You Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred but not required)
- 7+ years of network engineering experience
- Experience with network design, protocols, and network topology
- Expertise with Cisco & Meraki, DDI solutions, and network security, Layers 1-7
- Experience in technological auditing
- Understanding of network and server security in a healthcare context
- Relevant certifications: Cisco CCNP, CCDP, DevNet Professional, AWS Solutions Architect, Palo Alto PCNSE, etc
- Proficiency in private and public cloud environments
- Expert problem-solving skills
- Scripting and/or automation skills
- Experience with network architecture designing software (e.g. Visio)
- Proficiency participating in a Change Management process
- Up to 25% travel may be required as needed to our sites across the United States

Outlined below is a reasonable estimate of H&H’s compensation range for this role for US-based candidates. If you're based outside of the US, your recruiter will be able to provide you with an estimated salary range for your location.
The actual amount will take into account a range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and location. H&H also offers a comprehensive Total Rewards package that may include an equity grant.

An estimate of the current salary range is
$110,000 - $140,000 USD
