Infusion Technician
About the Job:
The role of the infusion technician is to accurately infuse cannabis inputs while maintaining precise recordkeeping, and to maintain and sanitize infusion and processing equipment.
- Responsible for sanitary and accurate input material preparation and handling
- Maintain both physical and digital logs related to the movement and use of cannabis and non-cannabis inventory
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to prevent downtime and ensure smooth operation
- Identify and resolve mechanical issues promptly
- Monitor the production process to ensure products are meeting quality specifications, assess machinery/equipment for optimization
- Maintain accurate records of machine performance, maintenance tasks, and quality control data
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations. Promote safe working environment.
- Clean, sanitize, and organize all assigned processing equipment
- Adhere to production schedules and communicate output metrics.
- Communicate with other team members regarding equipment issues
- Assist with diagnosing and repairing equipment issues
- Maintain an organized, clean and safe environment
- Contributes to continuous process improvement efforts to reduce scrap, cycle times, improve efficiency and eliminate waste as it relates to equipment functionality
- Understand and adhere to all applicable federal, state, and/or local laws and regulations pertaining to the cannabis industry, safety regulations, local municipal codes, and Company policies and SOPs
- Communicate effectively and work with other departments in the facility

Due to state regulations, qualified candidates for this position must be able to pass a background check – certain criminal convictions may disqualify candidates based on state marijuana licensing regulations.

Holistic Industries hires at least 18 years of age and up.
Education/Experience:
-
High School Diploma
-
Cannabis experience preferred
-
2+ years skilled manufacturing work experience
Required Knowledge and Skills:
-
Familiarity with weights and measures
-
Ability to accurately fill out documentation
-
Must be able to clearly communicate with team members
-
Possess basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication

Ability to gown and work in an aseptic/clean room environment.

Safety equipment may be required

Ability to understand and follow processes to produce products that meet quality standards

Effective verbal and written communication skill

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize competing demands

Ability to comply with established safety standards for the proper use, safe handling and disposal of harmful chemicals, substances, and hazardous wastes.

Must be able to work in a challenging fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to details
