Southeast National Accounts Manager C-Store
BACKGROUND
Due to our rapid growth, our success is directly dependent on attracting and retaining the best possible talent across our teams. To this end, we are posting for a strong Southeast National Accounts Manager C-Store. This role will be based remotely, ideally in the geographic territory.
OVERVIEW OF ROLE:
The Southeast National Account Manager, C-Store, is responsible for a group of key Home Market Foods chain accounts and channel distributors. The National Account Manager is responsible for the growth and development of a specific group of customers in the Southeast market and will be accountable for attaining revenue and profitability targets through collaborative relationships built on the exchange of category and product information, consumer insights, and profitability. The position will be charged with fully understanding the territory chain needs in marketing, support, new product development, as well as operations and category performance. The National Account Manager will author the selling strategy and tactical plans for the territory. Success in the role requires strong communication, marketing, and analytical skills, as well as maturity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the business development and sales within a defined geographic territory
- Develop impactful professional relationships at all levels of the HMF organization, as well as the customers’ organizations
- Develop strong broker network alignment and performance
- Make significant contributions to the marketing plans for the accounts
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and apply best practices
- Help identify, test and develop future products and packaging
- Provide routine performance reporting, channel and account analyses
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA or graduate studies in business, marketing or related field desired
- Substantial selling experience, preferably at the regional and/or national account level
- Microsoft Office skills required
