Manufacturing Staff Scheduler
**Role Overview:**
Join our dynamic Production Team as a Manufacturing Staff Scheduler, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our operations run smoothly. In this position, you'll gain an in-depth understanding of our production lines and the specific staffing needs for each product. Your main responsibility will be to ensure that every shift is fully staffed, vacations are scheduled and tracked efficiently, and that the production process flows seamlessly. Accuracy is key, and a passion for learning and continuous improvement will drive your success in this role.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and manage employee work schedules based on product requirements and team expertise.
- Process and manage time-off requests.
- Monitor and track employee time and attendance.
- Analyze staffing data and trends to optimize workforce efficiency.
- Identify and address staffing gaps.
- Collaborate with HR to fill vacancies, focusing on skill alignment.
- Coordinate with payroll to ensure accurate labor reporting.
- Support the Director of Manufacturing with various projects as needed.
- Take on additional tasks as assigned.
**Education and Experience:**
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Familiarity with ADP systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- A collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks and maintain attention to detail.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual abilities in Portuguese and/or Spanish are a plus.
