Your Role

We're seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to join our Competitive Marketing team and take ownership of our growth initiatives within the high school market. You’ll be the driving force behind athletic department package adoption, expansion and renewal, as well as fan adoption for ticketing and livestreaming solutions. This isn't just about campaigns—it's about empowering a large, sales-first organization with the tools, insights and strategies they need to dominate the market.

In this role, you’ll own:

  • Strategic Go-to-market Leadership: You’ll develop and support comprehensive marketing strategies and go-to-market plans for our high school market. This includes defining target audiences, key messaging and competitive positioning.
  • Sales enablement. You’ll  work hand-in-hand with our Sales team to create compelling collateral, presentations, battlecards, training materials and objection handling guides.
  • Adoption and engagement. One of your priorities will be increasing athletic director adoption of our ticketing and livestreaming solutions.
  • Data-driven optimization. You’ll leverage market research, customer insights, sales data, and campaign performance metrics to continuously refine strategies, identify new opportunities, and optimize conversion funnels. You'll be responsible for reporting on key metrics and demonstrating clear ROI.
  • Cross-functional collaboration. You’ll partner seamlessly with product management, sales leadership, design, content and other marketing teams to ensure alignment and create a cohesive customer journey from awareness to adoption and advocacy.
  • Market knowledge. As the internal expert on the high school athletic market, you’ll know all about emerging trends, competitor offerings and customer needs. You’ll translate these insights into actionable marketing and sales strategies.

This role requires three days in the office per week, so we're currently considering candidates who live within a commuting distance of our Lincoln, Nebraska headquarters.

Must-Haves

  • Experience. You’ve spent 5+ years in marketing, with a strong emphasis on sales enablement and demand generation. You have a track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that directly contributed to sales growth and revenue targets.
  • Exceptional understanding of sales cycles and the sales mindset. You know how to create impactful content and programs that empower sales teams.
  • A strategic thinker. You can translate complex data into clear, actionable marketing plans and communicate results effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Influencing and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels comes naturally to you.
  • Curiosity. You consistently seek innovative ways to achieve objectives and overcome challenges.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Familiarity with the high school athletic landscape. Experience in this industry would be a significant advantage.
  • Sports tech background. If you’ve held a similar role in the past, you’d have a head start.
  • Strong project management skills. The ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously, delivering on time and within scope, would serve you well in this role.
  • B2B or SaaS experience. You have a background in applicable marketing strategies, go-to-market approaches, and business drivers.

Our Role

  • Champion work-life harmony. We’ll give you the flexibility you need in your work life (e.g., flexible vacation time, company-wide holidays and timeout (meeting-free) days, remote work options and more) so you can enjoy your personal life too.
  • Guarantee autonomy. We have an open, honest culture and we trust our people from day one. Your team will support you, but you’ll own your work and have the agency to try new ideas.
  • Encourage career growth. We’re lifelong learners who encourage professional development. We’ll give you tons of resources and opportunities to keep growing.
  • Provide an environment to help you succeed. We've invested in our offices, designing incredible spaces with our employees in mind. But whether you’re at the office or working remotely, we’ll provide you the tech stack and hardware to do your best work.
  • Support your mental and physical health. We care about our employees’ wellbeing. Our Employee Assistance Program, employee resource groups and fitness partner Peerfit have you covered.
  • Cover your medical insurance. We have multiple plans to pick from to ensure you’ll have the coverage you (and your dependents) want, including vision, dental, fertility healthcare and family forming benefits.
  • Contribute to your 401(K). Yep, that’s free money. We’ll match up to 4% of your own contribution.
